A Kiss
Ingenue Oct 2016
It obviously was an expensive meat.
It was tender, juicy, and sweet.
It tasted smoky—like a passion was burning inside it.
It was addicting, indeed.

I don't mind re-applying my lipstick over and over, as long as
You don't mind re-kissing my lips over and over, until my legs give away.

Love, simplified.
Ingenue Feb 2016
This is art of simplifying love.

If you have no friend,
You don't have to go to the club,
And get drunk with strangers.
Let's get drunk together.

If you have no time,
You don't have to talk to me for hours,
Just simply text me,
And tell you're okay.

If you have no money,
You don't have to buy me fancy food,
We can eat the instant noodle instead.
Or I can cook and eat by myself.

If you're bad at remembering,
You don't have to remember our anniversary date, nor my birthday.
Just remember me,
Or simply remember my name.

If you're not in love with me,
You can start learning it,
Or simply throw me away.
It's way more simple than faking love.

Your warmth,
A quick 'Hi', and
A casual conversation
Are the key elements to grow a plant;
I called it 'Love'

My Love has grown so big,
It's uneasy to cover up.
How come you've never seen my Love?
It's right before your eyes.
Ah, you are blind.

This Love's keep growing,
too heavy for me to carry by myself.
I need you to stop fertilizing this love, but-- at the same time-- I won't.
I don't want you to stop our conversation.

I want us to carry this Love together.
We might carry this Love together if I ask you,
But imaginations of rejection tortures me.

What if?
What if?
What if?
Too many ifs in my mind,
They scare me.

I'm giving up.
Almost giving up, actually,
Because you eventually said
"May I help you carrying Love?"

I’m walking across the street.
There is someone I have to meet,
My Mr. sun.

I’m looking for him on the green grass field where we met before.
Though I don’t see any trace of him, I’m still waiting.
I have best believe that I’ll meet him again.

But it seems like I won’t meet my sun,
because rain is pouring heavily all of the sudden.
I got my hopes down in a split of second.
I think, meeting you was just an accident, not destiny.
I’m ready to go home, I’m giving up.

It’s when my eyes catch the same light as before.
It’s when my heart feel the same warmth as before.
My Mr. Sun is standing before me.
“Hi, You.” Said Mr. Sun.
I got my hopes up again as you greeted me.

I forget when did I sign-up on any admission for admiration,
but now I’m admiring you.
I’ve never known that one conversation can lead to addiction, but I know now.
I’m addicted to you even when we’ve only met once.
Am I addicted to you?
Am I addicted to your warmth? Or
Am I addicted to you charm?
Please tell me, Mr. Sun.

Everything that I think about lately are Me, Myself, and I.
I have wasted a lot of my time to think about anything and anyone until the time I cannot even think of myself.
Right now, all I need is just a solitude.

On a green grass field I’m lying down.
I’m looking at cotton-like cloud above me.
It’s so white, it refreshes my ***** mind.
I’m looking at the bright-blue colored sky. So blue,
It makes me think, “is it sea or ocean that I’m looking at?”
I’m looking at the biggest star in the world: Sun.
It’s so bright it makes me squint my eyes.

Wait, why am I seeing two suns?
They are both bright and warm:
I can feel the warmth of one sun on my skin– it melts my sweat. and ridiculously
I feel another sun’s warmth in my eyes– it melts my heart.

Am I going crazy?
It’s impossible if earth has two suns.
Unless, the other sun is called ‘you’.
It’s possible.

Ah,
I’m so pleased to meet you,
*Mr. Sun of the green grass field.
