My mother's’ an angel,
God sent her to give light,
to fuel a fire in our hearts,
and shine down like stars on gloomy nights.

In her soul flowers bloom,
red roses intertwine in her curls,
while beauty grows in her healing soul,
faster than I’ve ever seen before.

One day I hope to glow like her,
and open the doors she’s been pulling at for years,
clear up the sky,
so the sun paves her way,
no warrior deserves rain during her glory days.

I answered with love,
you questioned
with anger and pain

I held you close,
but your eyes
failed me again

I told you truly,
as my wishes
dropped to the floor

Your smile my captor,
my heart
  —your swinging door

There is a cauldron inside my chest, inside my bones
bubbling and seeping
the sickly green glow
the bubbles pop with a wet sticky splat

If the fire isn't put out soon
the poison will be everywhere
it will eat through the floor
and leave nothing
but a hole

connections:
tenuous, strenuous.

beliefs stretch
farther than bombs

faith:
a word in line with desolation
mainline my vices;
daydream my lichens.

keep in line
with happier times.

protect us from ourselves

clumsy me
i keep my soul
clumsy me:
telepathy glows.

you place manipulation.
i leave contempt.

a fortnight since
that witch unkempt.

i touch yer skin;
you touch my face;
we broke our hearts
in ev'ry place.

my ev'ry dream:
you felt them too.
my ev'ry bone
feels underused.

technicolour dream,
black 'n white scream.

it used to be naught
but primary.

I touch yer skin;
you touch my face.
you break my awe
in ev'ry place.

my limbo love:
i carry thee
as to Valhalla
you carry me.

i touch yer skin;
you touch my face
you tie my heart
in filigree lace.

we used them past
biweekly grace
my sleepless love
yr shattered heart
my shattered face.

round'n'round we doth embrace.

maybe this time
we keep the pace.

mybe you won't break
my filigree lace.
