Part I

Where flowers grow and sway
And where dew kisses their satin cheeks
Tall trees provide shade in the hot summertime
And breezes rustle the forest leaves.

Stars twinkle and wink at Night
Happily so merry and gay
And the Moon watches happily o'er
This beautiful enchanted place.

Coblestones provide such a lovely walkway
Leading to the pretty cottage
Where tall rosebushes climb
The trellis where at Night their buds unfurl.

Such beauty that *ONLY
Jesus can create
And as I stand here gazing at the beauty of Nature
I think of the Holy Creator Who made this whole world
And I think of how Jesus smiles while looking at His creation.

You say

Give you some space to breath

Well I can do that
I can do just that

Do you still have mixed feelings ??

Mia
You carry my heart on a whim
I wear yours on my sleeve
But what I really do want;
Is you.
To whisper in my ear
And hug me tight
In the cold chilly night.
As we walk to the forked road
There you take the left path
And I remain still
Watching, wondering
do I go with him or away?
one thing is for sure
It's hard to watch you leave
I want all night with you.
To kiss you all over
and make sweet promises.
Be your sensual siren
Lure you in with my beauty
I want a willing slave
Just say yes and take me.
Her intense presence
does something tender,
to his heart;
that eludes words.

               When she speaks,
               in a soft soothing tone,
               the pain she suffers,
                submerges, goes missing.
                How much she endures,
                how long,
               he can't fathom.
A silent grief
binds them together;
he is the mirror
that faithfully reflects.
He feels now
the gentle spread of moisture
enveloping them both;
dried up skin
on his face comes to life again.
Lips, curled up dry leaves,
are pumped up with chlorophyll,
turn towards her, the sun.
                                     He dissolves,
                                     in the thought
                                     of her pain,
                                     becomes her  tear drops,
                                     roll down and fall
                                     one
                                     by
                                     one.
You found
My heart
Beats faster
Beneath the weight
Of your body
On mine
Is all that
Keeps me
From flying
Away

Blood pulses
Through my
Veins beneath
Your skin
Soft
In
My mouth
Makes sounds
I’ve never
Heard before

Held breath
Anticipation
Curls in
My stomach
Can feel you
Pushing against
Me
Trying to
Push us
Together

“It’s okay”
Your lips
Are warm
Despite their lies
Because
You know
Tomorrow
We’ll still
Be falling
Apart
Near an old Kentucky town
I made my livin' underground.
And seldom would I see the light of day.

Where coal once was king,
I made may hammer ring.
That's a sound that will not soon fade away.

But now the coal train’s turned to rust,
and my lungs are full of dust.
And my time on this earth is through.

For forty years I dug their coal,
till the minin' took its toll.
Now all I ask is this favor of you.

When I die, when I'm gone,
o'er my body sing a song.
So the angels will come and take my soul.

Dig my grave neath the pines,
on a hill far from the mines.
Make my tombstone out of number nine coal,
make my tombstone out of number nine coal.

Near an old Kentucky town,
while the leaves were fallin' down,
a family lay their kin to rest.

While they sang "Amazing Grace",
with a tear on every face,
a miner got his last request.

" *******"
" I'd drop a two dollar **** down dem lips darlin'"
Chuckling, howling laughter
" What did you just say"
" I said I love you"
" No you didn't"
" Yes I did, I said I love you"
" WHAT THE **** DID YOU SAY?"
"I love you"
She still doesn't know
and I still chuckle
whenever I'm alone
and it comes to mind
"I'd drop
a two dollar ****
down dem lips
darlin"
