Indigo tides surge,
threaten to pull me away
into the realm of eternity.

Occasionally, I let them
draw me just a little
too close

before finally leaning
away from the depths
to feel the sun’s glow.
The sun is out
Against a bright blue sky
With hints of gray
There’s a slight wind
The air is cool
Winter is coming
It’s not far behind
People sit huddled in cafés
With winter coats and scarves
Seeking warmth
The next season is coming
It’s knocking at our door
The year is almost over
Time to reflect
Aging
like the finest wine
his music vintage gold
Sugar Mountain
the Harvest Moon
a Southern Man to scold
The lyrics haunting
feelings blessed
an Old Man at his knee
From Crazy Horse
to Woodstock
—his message sets us free

There are seven wonders of the world
and I am sitting here
right here
right now
having dinner
with three of them
A smile and a heart of gold and
One of the best you could hold and
Never selfish and he was always so kind
A beautiful memory left behind,

And deeply loved by everyone and sadly missed by everyone every day and always remembered
And you'll be forever in our hearts every day.
Never Forgetting You. ❣️❣️❣️🙏🙏🙏
Buried in the ashes
of life’s cremation
Human effort smolders
but embers await
Tomorrow today
today gone forever
Forever rekindled
—the smokescreen of fate
