It seems that human beings
are full of hate
It breaks my heart
every single day and
makes me want to run away
to a cave in the mountains

Sombro
Like painted frogs upon a tree
I feel the poison leak from me
I do not gamble as a rule
But with that hope may disagree

I chained the gauntness, kept the beast
Until it felt at home, at least
When it snarls I shiver less
When it bites I let it feast

Show me more of ******* sap
Sticky, but this honey trap
Is quickly eaten up by me
To venom I’m a porous wrap

It comes, it goes
The gale force blows
But poison’s fickle
The tree frog knows.
there's beauty in silence
except when
it echoes a void.
Too many of us sling tasks over our shoulders that are better left to those who request they be completed

Days turn into weeks of selfless help and pretty soon we stop doing for us-- instead doing for everyone else

Then eventually we shake our hollow frames and the dust flies off and settles and we take a good long look in the mirror and say it's our turn

There is something to be said about helping one another but there is a quiet strength in admitting that we need help, too.

In her powder blue
Pin cushioned see- through blouse
Her eyes mesmerize the room
So natural
Such beauty
I lick the blood from her lips
And pang for her love
Why oh me
She cries no more
Her nails dig deeper
As I plea
More
Beauty
More

Whorepaint does not do her justice
So much prettier than her disquise

As she paints the sound of beauty
in her voice
Singing love's lullabyes

It's like having your hands bound
While someone stabs your heart
Except you did the binding
People say it's brave
But it doesn't feel like it
Cowardly
is more like it
Peel back your skin
To see your broken bleeding
Throbbing
still beating heart
The embarrassment caused
is like ******* yourself
but
similar to that warmth you
experience
When you share yourself with
your love
it is more than worth it

They stare
Too many of them do it
They look at you with their sideways
face.
They don't peer
They arn't peers
Lack all intuition
And empathy
"What?"
"Huh?"
With a plastered on smile
On their sideways face
I am done trying to explain
to the people frozen in their
permenant Dutch Angles
"Wait, what?"
You can stick your sideways face
up your sideways ***
