This word we find is pointing to a reality
quite unpleasant
applied to many stories in books and film
with imagination darkened..
Such alternate worlds are so portrayed as a
reality alien
but may we not say it is a reality all our own
right here and right now
a reality born of the widespread belief in
a separate self..
