I have lived lifetimes
At night while I sleep
I want to rest now
But I'm scared of what I'll see
I just ******* know it will be you.

I bite

Pri
I bite.
Not with teeth.
with silence,
with sharp glances,
with walls built higher than your reach.

I’m not cruel.
I’m just tired
of being kind first
and torn apart second.

You call it attitude.
I call it armor.
Because being soft
never saved me.
It only made the fall hurt more.

So I speak less now.
Agree less.
Trust less.
I pull away before someone has the chance
to walk out first.

It’s not that I don’t want love.
I’ve learned that even “I care about you”
can come with conditions.
Even soft hands
can leave bruises
you can’t see.

I bite
because once,
I didn’t.
And it nearly broke me.
(inspired by Isle of Dogs)
When your voice
Escaped the clutches of the night
I held on tight
In vain

Your eyes that hid under the curls
They've become traces of you

To a girl I once knew
You're only a memory away
In the silence of night

wounds of the heart scream.

To love, is to wait , to feel , to notice , to hear, to care without expecting to be loved too.

Sometimes we need to slow our pace
To breathe, to find a quieter space.
To feel the sun in gentle grace
And watch the leaves drift from their place.

Sometimes we're lost, unsure, undone
But all we need is lift our eyes to sun.
She shines so high, her warmth so near
Like moonlight soft when night draws near.

In every shadow, light will hide
In every storm, the tides subside.
So take a breath, let peace abide
Everything will turn, be still inside.
I want you to be reminded with this poem that it's ok to slow down, breathe, and find peace in nature’s quiet moments. A gentle hope through imagery of sunlight and moonlight, assuring that even in uncertainty, stillness will guide us back to clarity.

Angel
Ticking.
Time is running out.
I am losing control.

The hands spin faster—
I scramble
to keep it together,
to silence the chaos.

But the ringing in my ears
drowns every thought.
That incessant,
unforgiving:

Tick
  Tick
    Tick

It drives me mad,
twists my mind into knots.
I can’t breathe.
I’m running
out of
time—

I...
