You don't love someone if you can leave them for days without warning.
You don't love someone if your happiness means more to you than theirs.
You don't love someone if you can lie straight to their face and not feel the slightest bit guilty.
You don't love someone if seeing them cry doesn't shred your heart to pieces.
You don't love someone if you get angry at them for being upset and they don't open up to you right away.
You don't love someone if you make them feel guilty for things that are out of their control.
You don't love someone if falling asleep to their voice isn't the most comforting thing to you.
You don't love someone if their laugh isn't your favorite sound.
You don't love someone if when you look into their eyes, you see a reflection of yourself.
You don't love someone if when you kiss them, your mind doesn't go completely fuzzy and you can still remember your name.
You don't love someone if being in their arms doesn't feel like home
You don't love someone if you allow your friends to talk badly about them and you agree.
You don't love someone if just hearing their name doesn't make you smile.
You don't love someone if making them happy isn't one of your top priorities.
You don't love someone if you can admit that they love you more.

People come into your life as
Quickly as they come, never
Staying for long there are
Cases where they do stay,
Your closest friends, your
Best friends, your loved
Ones
But others just disappear and
Leave completely, dropping out
Of your life never talking to you
Again, lost connections of how
You became friends, the shared
Stories, secrets, good times
And memories. All you have now
Is seeing random Facebook
Statuses of you with new
Friends or Instagram selfies
With tons of new people
Do you remember us being
Friends?
If I sent a text, a message
Anything would you answer?
Would you talk to me again?
If I done wrong can I right it?
Can we be friends again?
Or am I just a random Facebook
Status popping on your newsfeed
And nothing else
Do I write my poems,
Or do they write me?

When I was so confused on what to do,
where were you?

When I was so **** broken,
where were you?

When I was so sad,
where were you?

I guess I was so **** independent
that you didn't see
I needed someone for me
who will say,
you'll be okay,
it will be fine,
life is just built that way
for you to learn
and adapt.
Well, good news,
i learn it that way...
So I was okay.
I grow up good
and well adapted...

Now that I've think about it,
nobody has really gone deeper
to my "I'm okay, I'm good.".
No one bothers really,
they take my silences
as fine I guess...

big sigh...

I wish I could say this to my family, that I'm struggling despite my happy persona. But really I could not tell them, I don't want them to worry.
