Darkened Star—
Goodbye.

Nothing to fear,
Only dim sparks
That fly
High;
Etched
In twilight drenched remnants of minutes and space
Connecting past the universe’s face.

Darkened Star,
You’re no longer,
In sight.

No need
To fear;
Light encumbered under the warmth
Of a full heart reaching beyond a blind man’s dart.

Darkened Star,
Goodbye.

After walking in a desert
Under the burning sun
With scorching heat
That peels the skin

As if one finds
An oasis in desert

As if one finds coolness
Of a GRAND Banyan TREE

As if one finds peace
Under a Bodh-Gaya Tree

Such is the happiness & bliss
I feel inside my heart & being
The day I realized your
LOVE-SOUL-connect
That's the time...
I completely surrendered
Myself in/to your LOVE...

~~~~~~~
My mind had so many questions
My life was just
An aimless wander-lust
I was not getting anywhere...
I was seeking an anchor of LOVE
As if a canoe is fighting
A ravaging battle with
Surging oceanic waves and
Unable to sail to a shore
As if some sparkling-stars
In the dark-sky
Showed the direction
To the floundering boat
Towards a safe seacoast
Such is the happiness & bliss
I feel inside my heart & being
The day I realized your
LOVE-SOUL-connect
That's the time...
I completely surrendered
Myself in/to your LOVE...
~~~~~~~

As the pitch dark nights becomes
Illuminated by your full-moon-shine

As if a thirst of desert
Since a millennium years
Receives dew drop messages of
Upcoming downpour of thunderstorm

Such is the happiness & bliss
I feel inside my heart & being
The day I realized your
LOVE-SOUL-connect
And when
I completely surrendered
Myself to your LOVE...

~~~~~~
I only walk on the path
That is leading me to YOUR SOUL
At all times....
In seasons of springs,
When flowers blossoms
In walks across thorns
During autumn leaves
In summers or winters
Over fires, over valleys
Without faltering or straying
From your LOVE course-call
To the one who was thirsty
For a single drop of water
As if
Destiny gave Divine nectar
To one's heart's content
To live & survive for Eternity
Such is the happiness & bliss
I feel inside my heart & being
The day I realized your
LOVE-SOUL-connect
And when
I completely surrendered
Myself to your LOVE...
As the fire freezes to cold ice
Such is the blessing of your LOVE
As the cold ice melts into raging fire
Such is the blessing of your LOVE
love of my life
let me be your
eternal shadow not
your temporary sunshine
love of my life
my queen, my lifeline
my love for you
is within every breath
of this lifetime
Outstretched
And
Exposed
To find
Yourself
In
The
Chasm.
Displaced
Consciousness
As if
A Phantom.
Holding your soul,
Close to your body.
Rolling
Into
A Cocoon
Of
Newly
Spun
String.
Rolling, rolling, rolling...
To where?
Towards
Undetectable
Cosmos.
Unending,
Then crystalizing
Over sudden sunsets,
Infinitely,
Across the horizon.
Moving towards
Abstractions
Faster,
As concrete
Fails to set
Within them.
Swept up
On the stairwell
Of a helix,
Waiting to
See where
It ends.
Caught up
In the never-ending
Space of Obscurity
That sometimes seems
Forbidden.
This poem might not appear to make sense at first.  It came to me as a visual image that suddenly popped into my head as I was thinking about how I feel about a life situation that I've struggled with for a while. It actually has dual meanings as after I wrote it some subcontious thoughts also surfaced.  I've heard poetry is good therapy and believe it. So the inspiration came as the sun started to go down as it does now at 4pm.  I was thinking about a piece of life, closed my eyes and saw myself exposed and naked laying in a dark, empty space. Then I realize it, and so my entire being rolls itself up in a cocoon for protection to find that my mind is very abstract and struggles in this concrete world, especially around a lot of people who are very concrete and black & white thinkers. It's time to find a new field but it seems like a big leap. Just thoughts and visualizations put to words....
Shifting, sand underfoot
and the moon bent
in reflected splendor, up from the sea, and from the
tresses of your hair;
black, in that time
of dreaming.
The stars,
innumerable in their glory,
wink down at
us gently as we walk,
their mysteries
disregarded.
for in your eyes
lie the sum of
their light.
This is a draft I put together in 2016 and promptly forgot about. I've edited it some, but I'm pretty sure I've just polished it up a little, meaning intact. Figured its about time it got some air.
The goddess dressed in white
carrying the moon
walks up the stairs to my bedroom window
Plants it there
The room is alive with shadows
Echoes of the past
There's a pain
Where pleasure used to be
An exquisite ache no one can see
A lonely breeze that can't be touched
An endless night that can't be unlocked
The mind plays tricks with the shadows on the walls
Anxiety it comes and goes
that we all know,
But it continues to echo and grow
There's a frigid cold
Where warmth used to be.
The moon goddess winks at me,
"Go to sleep,
Goodnight,
Be free."
River as persistent
as the enduring ******
for self-preservation -
Carving by currents
and flowing within
a necessary course
Determined
by ancient
inherent law.
Oblivious to danger
and ignorant of doubt
it is perpetually unconcerned -
The river carelessly
generous
without discrimination -
Ever sustaining
trees, grasses and
underbrush shelters
Home to life in its waters
and nourishment for those
that come to the banks
Never quarreling with any
human imposition
be it sport or utility
And always providing
the perfect primordial
music for meditation
Always offering
an immaculate lullaby
for the tranquil restorative
of sleep.
I belong to the wilderness
and the highest peaks
to the depths of the ocean
the same language we speak
To the blossoms of spring
and the summers’ breeze
I belong to a single blade of grass
and every rustling of leaves
To endless starlit nights
and the hope rising with dawn
With every bird taking flight
I belong to their song
I belong to the love
of a soulmates heart
and to the bitter anguish
that tore us apart
To the carefree laughter
of children at play
I belong to the fear they conceal
and their hope for a better day
I belong to the infinite yearning
of my place on this Earth
and to the unknowingness
and complexity of my timely birth
To my physical features
and the boldness of my eyes
I belong to this body
and why it keeps me alive
I belong not to my emotions
nor heartache or bliss
I belong to the intricacies of wisdom
and forever trust in its abyss
