Polar
There's a ghost in the machine
A distant heartbeat
An echo
A recollection of tides pulled by the rhythm
Of the moon
A lunar cycle
Of leaves swirled
And now settled
By the whisper
Of the breeze
A message repeated
But not audibly heard
Remembered and understood.
You are in the right place
Where you need to be
All you need now
Is to breathe and be.
Thank you everyone for the likes and comments, my poem being chosen as the Daily has made my day!! :0)

Polar
We walked in with the snow
Carried on drifts
Talking to the ghosts of those
We had left behind.
The sun fought in contrast
To the biting air of  the frozen landscape.
Our breath visible proof of life
As we trod crystals underfoot.
Strange monuments marked our journey
Charred sculptures of wood
Dotted throughout the forest.
I searched for you
Halting the path of strangers
All to no avail.
We passed boulders of burial grounds
Heads bowed in silence
As we continued to follow the spirit paths
Of these haunted lands.
Walking towards the future
Where we only met our past.

The sun sits pretty, cradled in the palms of the clouds
Kissed goodnight to the moon and stars
Birds bathe in the seamless beams on the treetops
And do Sun salutations to the morning star

Blurt out the truth
Left out of the crowd

Politically incorrect
Amend you must

The truth people speak to have each other’s back
And what they speak behind the back

Doesn’t the conscience get hurt
Or, that’s the only truth it knows

A manicured lie chips away
The spirit of truth cleanses the way
Truth knows no bounds, it is bond free
Just an expression of some thoughts!

Sometimes I neglect
To confess
But please know
I love you
With every last breath!

Royalty and
princely.
Rivalry and love.
Humility and
humbleness.
Fruitfulness and
productivity.
Beautiful beginnings
and achievements.
Countless glory,
rise and fall.
Fear and
bravery.
Apprehension
and failure.
That's the story
of my greatness.
All manifest itself
in my life.
Today i stand
in that place
where yesterday
when i contemplate
the dark periods,
my eyes could
scarcely see.
Humbled by
long suffering,
with my back bent.
I summoned
the inner strength
to conquer the
insurmountable
harrowing and
painful experiences
which my mouth
could never express,
or even explain,
that infested my life.
It was not
all that rosy.
But today,
I'm still here,
I'm still right
here standing.
