Do you ever wonder
Is there’s any thing to find
In the wide world
Outside your mind

The whys and the wherefores
The reasons and the rhyme
For dreams of the night
And the daytime

There is coming and there’s going
One day things will end
All the walls will fall
All the wounds will mend

There’s a space between every thing
A cushioning of air
Everything will be OK
If we stay in there

In the crevices and cracks
In all realities
We will find a deep
And everlasting peace

Who? can't get it right, day or night
Who is black who is white
Who is never wrong and always right
Who is it only likes to play
But suffers every night and day
Who is it, thinks that they were born
Who is it feeds their unicorn

Not you, not me
Must be somebody
It's someone that we only find
Looking deep inside a mind
The room inside no one has seen
With a global IMAX screen
The little person in the chair
Sits and stares at light and air
He doesn't understand the 'deal'
He thinks his world is really real

There are no windows to his world
He's every boy, he's every girl
There is no night, there is no day
There is nowhere outside to play

He simply needs to close his eyes
And watch the screen inside his mind
Where he can choose to see
A movie called
....'Perpetual Tranquility'

Actually

What you see
Isn’t me
And what I see
Isn’t me

Actually

My actual ‘I’
Will not be seen
By ordinary eyes

Actually

This is why
I meditate
To eliminate
The pretentious
Preposterous
Imposter

Everywhere I see
People
Like you
Like me
Always on the move
Through infinite galaxies

From here to there
Breathing water
Breathing air
Flying
Crying Dying
Mistaken minds
Trying to find
A holy grail
Flailing
Weeping
Wailing
Setting a sorry sail

I see a man standing, on a wave
Such a strange thing, he never falls in
And a candle flame, still in the wind
While the wind blows, and the trees sing
The clouds are white the sky is blue
The sky stays still while clouds move through
I see a man on a mountain, he’s so wise
He stopped seeing every thing with his eyes
He told everybody what he’d seen
Said if you can see nothing, something will be seen
The clouds are white the sky is blue
The sky stays still while clouds move through

Just like a wisp of smoke
Swirling in the air
I am here, there
And everywhere

We were introduced
But never met
We were both blind
And deaf

You didn’t stay
For very long
Maybe my memory
Is wrong

I was almost known
But not quite
Your sense of me
Was just not right

You tried to touch me
Again and again
I tried to let you
Now and then

I’m a memory of
Someone, somewhere
Who used to be
Just over there

Behind the wall
That never fell
The other three
Made up a cell

We thought we knew
Each other too
You, me
And me, you

But we were not two
We were more
We were not two
We were four, or more

I looked for you
In your limbs
And underneath
Your silky skin

You looked for me
In my heart
And in the mind
You took apart

We never found
Someone there
All we found
Is smoky air

We are not a thing, We're a happening

We're coming and going all of the time
Never staying still, just like my rhyme

We are not a thing, We're a happening

You can't point at me!  If you try
I will disappear in the blink of an eye

We are not a thing, We're a happening

You can't drive a wheel because it's not a car
If you try you won't get very far

We are not a thing, We're a happening

Doctors know this because they've seen
Inside our skin with an Xray machine

We are not a thing, We're a happening

Still looking for the book, for some thing to read?
Or maybe the beginning of a seed

We are not a thing, We're a happening

Without the fish and egg where would we be
There'd be no you, there'd be no me

We are not a thing, We're a happening

We're coming and going all of the time
Never staying still, just like my rhyme

Things coming and going at the  same  time
is the most sublime Rhyme

Einstein and Siddhartha  knew this
many years ago
They told us something that we just don't
really want to know

Things coming and going at the same time
Is the most sublime  Rhyme

Bits of seconds  passing by
Keep on looking them in the eye
Be here now,  time will fly
As bits of seconds pass you by

Things coming and going at the same  time
Is the most sublime Rhyme

When the earth quakes
And shakes the ground
Beneath your feet
Slip into the crack and don't look  back
Let your heart skip a  beat

Things coming and going at the same time
Is the most sublime Rhyme

I need to stop being me
There’s somebody else
That I want to be
I spend nearly all of my time
Thinking of me
Thinking of mine
I seem to be stuck
In this unwritten rhyme
Since beginningless time

There are those who worship
At the altar of the ear
Who when they hear a certain note
Will shed a tear.

Some worship
Pastoral scenes
Seeing lakes and trees
They slip into a dream.

The church of haute cuisine for some
Is where they go
Every day
To kneel and pray

There are those whose smell sensation
Equates to olfactorial
Adulation
And infatuation

Some hedonists wouldn’t mind
Being blind
Tactile delights forever
Would suit them fine

Though my five senses
Work quite well
I find myself mainly interested
In my mind.

Then when we know
From whence come
Moon and Sun
All will be undone

All undone
So much fun
Picking skins off the onion
One by one

Then to fall into
The space inside
Where with two wings
We soar and fly

One day
I will
Finally find
