If the Reddened Mum would seek to Forgive
My Lone and Whale-Levelled Voice
Perhaps the Healing Tome would allow me to Live
And make Good Aspect on my own Choice. =))

One of them days
where I find no reality
and into a rabbit hole may fall
ending up by a hut, down by the sea front
listening to the words
that the waves say to me
Hussssssssssh.

I was talkin to John
whom spoke in not so many words
of all the things he had done
then Betty piped up
and it seamed to me
talked only of the way she looked
Burt slipped in
and with a grin
talked of mental things
things that I do not know were to begin to
take of.

Today I was so board
felt like visiting the walking talking
takeaway of blues
for I have time in my head
for some bad news

I smiled a bit
then went out
and brought some new shoes
which pinched my toes.

The soft rain is drumming with the brook
And the owl is moaning with the loon,
The early sun shines on the lake waters,
Each of these things distant — I am happy.

Seán Mac Falls
Deep in the chalk of gloaming flame,
The tawn and pale, of moan and loon,
Where under leaves of forest shades,
The crescent rails of the riding moon,
Here is when the quick blood running
Drains with shear seepings and looks,
With eyes agape, small game stunned
Over pines and green hemlock wood,
The ferryman wings and clawing tears,
Whose silent strike and low red raking
Blasts unto an indifferent lane of peers,
This is the house of apparition's name,
A mages fugue, muffled muses reprise;
The **** song which creeps as sun dies.

The beautiful snow-covered mountains are rocky and high,
I do so love the sapphire sky,
Beautiful fir trees are scattered here and there;
I love the cool, crisp mountain air.
A beautiful gushing waterfall,
Provides cool bubbling water for all,
Logs and rocks lay across the stream;
This place seems so much like a majestic dream.
I love this beautiful serenity,
Singing a song of nature's harmony,
I love the bright sunshine and tall grass;
I love the way the stream doth ripple and dance.
I love the beautiful bushes and yellow-green grass,
I must cross this creek to pass,
But before I begin my journey on my horse along with my donkey again;
I'm going to sit here a few minutes just Taking It In.

North winds come early,
Beauty simpers before Fall—
Lone swan on the lake.

Luscious cool shelter
Shrill calls of whipbirds echo
Em'rald fans quiver
Tears of the tempest gather
Falling with unending life

I open my eyes
and see all of nature clear
I thank God for this!
...
I thank God for creating beauty in nature.

Lavender sunset,
such a lovely sight to see,
sitting side by side.
God I hope this comes to pass,
all within Your own good time.
...
My first Tanka! :)
I hope you enjoy it. :)

I sit out in the meadow at night.
I look up and see the moon shining bright.
While the fireflies dance.
I look on in a trance
and stare directly into the moon's light.

The crisp leaves fall down around me.
As they dance and twirl, they fill me with glee.
Childhood memories begin to stir,
But then they begin to blur.
I then awaken beneath the tree.

Snowflakes fall gently covering the ground.
I walked down the street and heard a sound.
I heard a beautiful song.
And I stopped to sing along.
It was the holiday spirit I found.
These are my first ever limericks! I wrote them b/c I need to have one by tomorrow for school and I don't know which one to choose. I'm thinking the first one, what about you?

fly into the clouds
along the wind and the birds
find her, my lover
she left me wounded, speechless
hope she can read your sweet words
My first TANKA. :)
