I have almost
given up
so many times,
as I always
put everything else
above my own.

But,
this time,
when I took my pen out
from its resting place,
I made it a promise:
Never again will I leave it alone!

~ I Promise, till death do us part!

some feelings can encase you in molasses
hardly able to move
unable to get a true understanding of what you feel
and why
you seem sunk in quicksand, below the surface
destined to forever be caught in some inexplicable cosmic trap
where the freedom of your heart is a forlorn dream.
But take comfort, there is a way out,
and it arrives at a time you least expect
its the deep healing that comes from knowing yourself
a light shining into the depths.

The purpose of dreams is to inspire -
      inspiration for direction and aim.
They are meant to become memories,
      and not to remain

                                          in vain.
O Devi, awaken the good in all,
there's no demon, nor devil
but in our mind, our will.

Raise our spirit, O Devi,
to the mountain's height
so we can use our might
to leave narrowness and rise above,

learn to live in amity and love!
On the auspicious occasion of Durga Puja (08.10.16-11.10.16), the greatest festival of Bengal, I wish all my poet friends at HP happiness and peace.
I remain grateful for your love and kindness.

I searched
the deepest depths
of the vastest oceans,
I searched way up high,
past the clouds,
in the bluest of blue skies,

I searched
deep in the hearts
of nature's greenest forests...
It turns out,
that I was carrying it within me
all along - only now, do I realise.

I have this virus in my head
And it's called
Thought
It's a wildly infectious virus
Which can be spread by
No more than words
Whether written or spoken
Thought can spread this way
Like an epidemic
But fear not, dear reader
It doesn't seem too widespread yet

When the sea has had her way
no longer to spill from our eyes
she will have given us up;
back to the ocean of the Universe.
