Say over again, and yet once over again,
That thou dost love me. Though the word repeated
Should seem ‘a cuckoo-song,’ as thou dost treat it,
Remember, never to the hill or plain,
Valley and wood, without her cuckoo-strain
Comes the fresh Spring in all her green completed.
Beloved, I, amid the darkness greeted
By a doubtful spirit-voice, in that doubt’s pain
Cry, ‘Speak once more—thou lovest! ‘Who can fear
Too many stars, though each in heaven shall roll,
Too many flowers, though each shall crown the year?
Say thou dost love me, love me, love me—toll
The silver iterance!—only minding, Dear,
To love me also in silence with thy soul.
She counts her shells

her feet sand ribbed
her toes ricely white
her hair windy vagabond
her eyes low tide sea.

She gives me back my years.

Through tears
I count eternity.

It's complicated is what you say
Against all odds is the game in play
You stare with eyes that don't care
But I still promise that I'll be there
And hold your hand asking you to take a stand
Begging Cupid to  stroke the magic wand
You're often absent in your presence
Not listening but criticizing my jumbled tenses
The more you try to break it the harder I fall
We speak every other night but only because I call
I say it every day, I say it all
It's true I love you...those words you troll

Sometimes I contemplate and hate that I lost control
Then I realize you're the only lass that made me feel whole
Again
And forget my pain
So I'm stuck to you,it's you I want to be with
Cause I'm struck by you and me love for you is true
I'm stuck with you, sure it's you I got to die with
I cannot wait for the day you will believe these words are true

Remember...
The bashful gazes that worked their way into your armour

Remember...
The clumsy saunter that incited your laughter

Remember...
The lips that parted confidently only to reveal child-like stutter

Remember...
The warmth that enveloped your hand as we walked together

Remember...
The winter day's kiss that felt like never-ending summer

Remember...
The day disappointment overwhelmed and doubt grew bolder

Remember...
The inevitable conflicts that resulted in futile banter

Remember...
The embrace when everything fell apart and seemed unclear

Remember...
The whispers that failed to soothe when your pillow got wetter

Remember...
The journey that now seem to not matter

Remember...
My heart as you once did...
As your silhouette drifts away,
everyday much further

~
Barely breathing
as the long day exhales
all of the thoughts roaming
around in my head

And I regret the words
uttered in a single breath,
when darkness claimed the day
and my weary mind spoke
without conferring with my heart,
saying things un-meant,
losing the one I love

And now I sit here gasping,
desperately trying to inhale
hoping that was not
*my final breath

Well Ernesto you're leaving us in body
But your spirit will always live on
Through the beautiful words you have left us
