Standing next to rocks we once carved
trying to remember the etched memories
of the years gone by,

when I had unison of dreams
and nightmares with you.

the wrath of time spared none,
not even the rocks , I see

but I wait
to conjure everything
from these rocks.

there is something about the air
when it is about to rain,

Did you ever feel it?

To wait an Hour—is long—
If Love be just beyond—
To wait Eternity—is short—
If Love reward the end—

We Made History Today

We
Spoke out.
We
Rose above.
We
Said no, not good enough.
We
stood tall
and
We
won't fall
for falsehoods and ignorance.
We
will move forward.
Protect our loved ones
and
We
will
prevail.

Lullaby

Sweet melody,
and the rain soaked air
lying on my mother's lap
with absolutely nothing to care

I feel ashamed of myself
and wonder as to why,
where was I even this busy?
how did I forget such a paradise?

I ask her after all this,
why does she love me still?
and she just patted my head with a smile
rest was just eternal bliss.

Would you bear the cost
of peace, if there was
no war, no country, no
personal gods?

We are not talking about―
a retropain of recent past.
It was there when we―
started walking, and
discovered a superhuman being.

The crowd swells every day, and
a new religion crops up
every now and then.

There was no fatal crash.
It makes you rich overnight.
The money grows―
from the barrel of the gun.

I refuse to celebrate the victory.

many an elegant lotus
