Hello underground.  Hello to all of your shadows.  I meet with the dimming light here at midnight.   Hello small cracks in the wall.  I peak through at you.  See what is really true.  Hello dust devils.  Silence swept you away. My recollections are all I have to say.  Hello leftovers.  Time to eat my yesterdays. And start cooking what tomorrows say.  Hello milky skin. Pale as moon and taste like love.  Its what has always been all of the above. Hello underground.  Goodbye to all of your shadows.  I leave the dimming light at noon.  Just a visit is all it was and ill be back soon.
Look but don't touch..

Raven
I slid into your hands
you cradled me
and I was happy
You buried your smile in my hair
I held you
and you were happy
Then you dropped me
but I grabbed on
still wanting you closer
but,
I let go of your finger tips
falling down a pit of memories
swirling and crashing at my heart
Did you ever give yourself the chance to breathe my air
look through my eyes
Did you ever truly see me
my face was blank
my voice stayed silent
but did you ever think to try hard enough to truly find me
where were the soft hands
asking if I was okay
where were the calming eyes
telling me I was safe
Where in the midst of it all did I lose you
Have me in the blue and the sun.
Have me on the open sea and the mountains.

When I go into the grass of the sea floor, I will go alone.
This is where I came from--the chlorine and the salt are
     blood and bones.
It is here the nostrils rush the air to the lungs. It is
here oxygen clamors to be let in.
And here in the root grass of the sea floor I will go alone.

Love goes far. Here love ends.
Have me in the blue and the sun.
I've been choking from the moment
I was forced to let you go
I should have spoke it out of poems
so that you would ever know
that I am bowing out & broken
want to unlearn every bone
until my heart re-bleeds the reasons
I keep sleeping here alone

so won't you
untie all my finger-tips
& hand me back my lungs
I was the fool that glued my heart to you
please can't you see what you have done ?

Wanderer
I once blushed golden on a blue watered beach
As the minister held out rings for us to share
Each had it's own meaning for the other
Each heart's deep love laid bare
Those same eternal circles now rest quiet
On ceramic lily pad made especially to hold
Vivid memories of your hand in mine
Happy Anniversary my love, in whispers softly told
September 22, 2010 I married the love of my life. He now is scattered amongst the stars. Each twinkle reminds me of the smile in his eyes and the brightness of his soul. I miss you, Jeremiah.
