I truly believe
All they said to me
Lived on the edge
Of just wait and see

But as far as they came
Those days went away
No longer the standard
The innocent age

Never a worry
Of what was to come
Live and let live
Loved everyone

Placing ourselves
On center stage
Is the day that it fell
The innocent age

A fairy tale read
In the brightest sunshine
With little time left
We all closed our eyes

What once was our calling
We should have saved
Now desperately longing
The innocent age

Aaamour
what is love, I questioned myself
if she was a flower in a garden
I would  write poems,
describe her in the most elegant ways
I would love her more than myself

I would manifest
about her eyes, voice-everything
I would draw,
and add colours to make her stand out
I would tell about her
to this world- filled with misery

I would  try to recreate her
so I’ll never be left alone

we don’t pluck it out
just to spend a day or two with it
instead we let it thrive
that is love
And to love is to leave
aimer c'est partir
In the end
we die alone

In the end
no blade to hone

In the end
do Angel’s call

In the end
when rhythm stalls

In the end
which deck unstacks

In the end
our health attacked

In the end
we pray for more

In the end
but fate endures

In the end
one final change

In the end
whose face remains

In the end
the bonds break free

In the end
— one last decree

a journey to the centre
the fire of love

the closer you get
the more you feel far away

all the more anything but love
is burned up

a heart full to bursting
forever joyful

how easy to hide the universe
a few clouds a blue sky
how easy to forget eternity
mind embedded in the day.
Mind forgets
Eyes slip past notes
Paper retains, but is lost
Only fingers remember
A lone melody.
And maybe that’s enough
Every song forgotten but Cannon In D

grey sky welcome
a downpour hoped for

a little excitement
on the rain scale

an old friend
not seen in awhile

some see in a puddle a reflection of the ocean
some see themselves a muddy muddle
others see the sky from whence the puddle came.
