Something in me breaks away,
When you say,
"It's fine,"
Instead of,
"It's okay."
Not from how it sounds,
At least,
It wasn't.
But you told me long ago,
"When I say it's fine,
It's not."
So are we playing games,
Are we chasing wild geese,
I beg you to communicate,
Yet you say,
"Read my mind."
I can't, not the way you want me too,
I love you, I need to,
More than anything.
So are we,
fine.
Or are we,
Okay

I drink in manipulation,
My soul bathes in it.

I love it like water,
Need it to breathe.

So keep it coming,
Keep on using me.

I'll never say goodbye,
Until I die.

Neil Mcpake
As darkness ruled the night basking in the moonlight. With adamant faces trying to control the light. With acrimonious personalities creating bitterness and hostility of the darkest minds. So there hearts were blank laced with hate. Never knowing love until god created woman and man.  But he couldn't stem the envy of money.
This poem is about the envy of the poor while being jealous of the wealthy. The lengths they will go to take the rich precious things away from them.

Never love an artist,
They don't have beauty left to give you.

You love me,
I try to give you all my beauty,
Though it curdles, turning into a night we regret.

Leaving you upset.
my love is tenacious
once I fall in love
the feeling is not
quick to fade
it clings to my heart
and sinks its claws in
my love is tenacious
once I fall in love
it hits me in the face
like a ton of bricks
my love is strong
sometimes too strong
where I love someone
who does not
deserve my affection
tenacious: tending to keep a firm hold of something; clinging or adhering closely
