He felt like home
But you can’t make people your home
You can try
I tried
But if you break
We broke
We have no home
If you don’t speak up

This feeling of home
Disappears
Focus on your foundation
Your values
To make things clear
What does the future look like for us?
We must both grow
Together or apart
To overcome this fear
To mend our broken hearts

Welcome to the festival
Where chaos true shall reign
Many saints have blessed it all
I'm heralding the pain

I seek and I beseech
My trembling hands do reach
Your approval I seek
With eyes bereft and meek

O Gracious Lord of all
Through winding dreams I fall
Is there no resting place
Have I lost all my grace

Weak and haphazard I sing
And dance around a yellow king
Transfixed upon a dimming moon
Whose gaze returned upon me soon

What more is there to say than this
To be without, empty of bliss
I crave the warmth of soft embrace
In you I've found my long lost grace
Likely the first romantic poem I have ever written. It is not something I am good at or experienced in. Excuse the tardiness.
My words keep bumping into yours
And having to stop to wipe a tear.
My thoughts tiptoe sadly over
Moments shared in brief exchange.

Fellow traveler on a highway
Crowded with ideas and dreams
We touched hands briefly now and then
And warmth became the bow that tied us.

Every path has many turnings,
Some of them with no way back.
But still the memory of touching
Warms the heart that’s left behind.

Travel on to other vistas
You’ve left behind a monument
That will shine as long as eyes
Enjoy the worlds that you created.

I know where I am.
Yet I am no where to find.
I know where I stand.
Yet I don't see a light.
In the mits of the dark, I expect non.
But here in the sun, light does belong.
And so I go, and leave my stand,
to see if the light, is somewhere to find.
And as I mark my steps, into the sand,
and leave my trace, for another friend,
I can see the light so bright,
somehwhere up there,
behind the night.

16 year old girl
Many years ago
Holding a portable radio
To ones ear
Listening to music
Rocking to the beat
Imagining far away places
Feet moving to the beat
Eyes closed
Letting the clouds of sleep
Approach as I listen to the
radio
Rockin to the beat
In the darkness
I love her so much
I truly do and
Whenever we're together my life feels so complete
And I feel so blessed because of her and
She's so beautiful and bright and
"I'll always be there for her in life and I'm so in love to and
This feeling is so amazing
And I'll love her forever
And will never leave her ever.
I'll love her forever 💕♾️💕♾️
I'm dreaming of her today
And I'm thinking of her
All through the night
And I've falling in love tonight
And I'm loving it so much in life
And we'll make our world a world
Full of happiness peace and forever love
And I'll love you forever sweetheart
So take my hands and let's grow old together.
In Love 🥰😘

Delicate petals awaken at first
Slowly subside like the quenching of thirst
Warmth to the fore demanding attention
Undercurrents of peace too subtle to mention
Bursting with seeds preparing to sow
The scent of the dawn is ready to go
