Sophie
Blackberry Feb 2018
Cold and sweet,
Sweet and cold.

Blue tipped fingers,
Blue tipped nose.

Eyes that glow,
Skin that's pale.

Hair of fair,
A frame of slim.

Cute and sweet and kind.

Amusing and beautiful and passionate.

Everything one could want,
Lucky to call you mine.

The Bell Witch
Blackberry Feb 2018
Hear the chime,
The call.
Feel the vibrations,
The fall.

The pitter patter,
Of bear feet on the ground.
The jingle jangle,
Of bells all around.

The bubbly laughter,
The cheerful cry.

The creepy serenade,
The last goodbye.

With a jingle jangle,
A bell on the ground-

With no pitter patter,
No longer around.

The Ribbon is Red
Blackberry Feb 2018
The ribbon is red.

And around my throat,
Tightening when I try to speak.

Thoughts wishing to be exclaimed,
Trapped in lungs.

Sinking like a rock,
Wide-eyed
I stare,
The ribbon's colour blooming,
Swaying towards the surface,
Breaking the edge.

A tug.

And I am pulled.

Face to face,
Another like me,
And around their throat,
A ribbon.

The ribbon is red.
