She was dressed in brown, blue and green,
All her intentions always pure and clean.
She built a home for the birds,
And for creatures which couldn't use words.
Bearing burdens of stones on her back,
Will so strong, her spine wouldn't crack.
She slept under the stars and bright moonlight,
Legends have been told, of her courage and might.
She fed men and women with grass and fruits,
And yet they've set out to cut the roots.
She asked nothing but for love and mercy,
She never knew her Gods were so clumsy.
Today she's forgotten and nowhere to be found,
Neither her sobbing nor laughter sound.
Dime and time spent can't measure her worth,
Would you believe that her name was 'Earth'?..
