Violet Mar 2015
Darkness
What colour is it?
Does it feel?
Does it laugh or cry?
Maybe it feels grievance
From those who fear it
Maybe it feels ecstasy
After a poor soul falls victim
To it's inescapable clutches
Is it misunderstood?
Does it only want an embrace?
Or were we correct?
Does it take pride in it's transgressions?
There is no way to tell
What lies in the darkness
Violet Mar 2015
Deep down a midst the walls
Darkness follows, darkness calls
Crawling, creeping, out of sight
How can I win this endless fight?
It seeks to find me, it seeks to ****
It will surely take me, against my will
I'm hopelessly waiting for my perfect prince
To break the chains that have bound me since
To take my hand and hold it dear
To say the words that I so wish to hear
To wash away the remains of night
To give me the kiss
The kiss of light
Violet Mar 2015
It swallows
It creeps
Making no sound
Yet it causes others to
A monster it is
But it doesn't ****
It only aids others in their deeds
It spills ominous emotions
bathing it's victims in trepidation
Some are untouchable
Others must run
Where is the light?
Does it hide in it's belly?
Does it exist in it's victims?
Or is it absent altogether?
Violet Mar 2015
Silence
Yet serenity can be heard
What is there to fear?
When all are dreaming
Content breathing
It pleases it
Knowing it's pets are far away
In a world they are safe in
While they reside in their rest
It sweeps over the land
To protect the ones
Who still lay in this world
The ones who are unable to slumber
Why can't they go?
Some fear it
They fear it's misdeeds
They refuse to trust
They might be taken by it
