Maybe in our next lives, the world will be nicer, and things will end better.

Maybe we won't be hurt by the person we loved.  Maybe it will be easier to forgive, because you never hurt me. Maybe it will be harder for you to leave, because I'll be enough. Maybe tears are for happiness, and hugs aren't for goodbyes. Maybe things will get better.

Or maybe, in our next lives, the world will be better from the start.

Maybe we won't even meet. Maybe all the bad things that happened will make up for the sad times to come. Maybe you won't even need to say sorry, and I won't beg you to stay. Maybe I won't even fall in love with you again. Maybe tears aren't for happiness, and hugs are for goodbyes. But at least we'll know how to let go of things that are over. Maybe things will get better.

For now, I know I'll always choose you, even though it hurts.  And even though everything still hurts, I want you to know that you still have my heart, and I hope that maybe, in our next lives, you'll choose to love me without hurting me.

My love surpasses distance,
More than fleeting doubts that dance.
Beyond the shadows, lies we weave,
Past hurts that make our spirits grieve.

More than days when we feel small,
Frustrations, imperfections, standing tall.
Pain endured, and pain to come,
Moments slipping, leaving us numb.

More than disagreements, misunderstandings' sting,
Uncertainties and barriers that rise and cling.
More than stars, ocean's deep embrace,
Than time's short span, and life's swift pace.

Our souls entwined, a bond so true,
From lives before, a love anew.
A pull that's felt, a start so clear,
A growing love, year after year.

I love you, miss you, every part,
Forever yours, within my heart.
a love that persists despite life's complexities.

A whispered hope, a silent plea,
That hearts entwined would always be.
I gave my all, a boundless stream,
Of love and care, a vibrant dream.

Through darkest nights, I held the light,
A guiding star, both pure and bright.
My presence felt, a gentle hand,
To soothe the wounds, across the land.

Yet when my own heart cried in pain,
A hollow echo, a soft refrain.
No helping hand, no listening ear,
Just empty silence, filled with fear.

The warmth I shared, a fading ember,
Replaced by shadows, cold and somber.
A fleeting moment, quickly gone,
A forgotten face, a whispered dawn.

I search for answers, lost and frail,
Why did my love so quickly fail?
A question lingers, deep inside,
Was I ever truly seen, or just cast aside?

My dearest love, my heart's true north,
For words unspoken, a silent forth,
My clumsy tongue, my failing grace,
I beg forgiveness, find your space.

My love for you, a boundless sea,
Yet in my speech, I fail to be,
The poet's voice, the words so true,
To paint the love I hold for you.

Forgive the stumbles, the missed beat,
The clumsy phrases, incomplete,
My heart's intent, it shines so bright,
A love unwavering, pure delight.

I'll strive to speak, with clearer tone,
The depth of feeling, all my own,
Until then, know my love's sincere,
And wipe away each falling tear.
I'm so sorry I let you down ♡

This knowing, a bittersweet art,
To let you go, tear my heart.
Though love runs deep, a fervent stream,
Our paths diverge, a fading dream.

No matter how hard we strive and yearn,
Our destinies twist, lessons we learn.
Acceptance dawns, a quiet grace,
The best things rarely find their place

In straight, predictable lines,
But in crooked paths, where true beauty shines.
So take your road, though winding and steep,
Towards your dreams, your secrets to keep.

For doing what's right, a solemn vow,
Sometimes means letting go, somehow.
To love someone, set them free,
To soar and grow, wild and glee.

Let them become more than they could be,
Beyond our reach, eternally.
This letting go, a love's true test,
A silent blessing, truly blessed.
Selfless ❤️

Not our best selves, some nights.
Uncertainty hangs heavy,
a weight unknown,
a path unclear.

Words fail,
a tangled mess,
unable to capture
the feeling's essence.

Lost, adrift,
uncertain of self,
uncertain of place
in the lives of others.

Yet, even in darkness,
a comforting truth persists:
loved, remembered,
held in hearts.

Sweet memories,
gentle whispers,
a name on the tongue.

Rough nights, harsh nights,
pain without reason.
But they pass,
always they pass.

And return,
in softer form,
a sweet surrender
to slumber's embrace.

Better will come.
We will be better.
Not always our best, but always loved.
Embrace the uncertainty.
