Many moons have passed
Since saying good-bye was all there was left between
Your fading heartbeat and my own
I dug a hole, filled it with months of sorrow
Almost drowning in the constant torrent
Winds of change blew through, turning face to sunlight
I miss you.
I will always love you.
But I must pull myself together.
You once whispered softly to me through a veil of tears
"Don't let this ruin you. Move forward and find happiness."
I am taking your advice
Creation has always been my greatest passion
I hope you will continue to inspire me Jeremiah
I am ready.
I have started a Kickstarter Project to get my GypsyBaubles company on it's feet. The shop I was in went under :( no pressure but anything would be greatly appreciated! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/522176462/gypsybaubles
I believed in you

I believed in you

I believed in you

And you taught me
A most important lesson
I quickly learned
To not believe
Or trust
In anyone
Or anything

I believed in you
**And you let me down
For lots of things... People, things, ideas... Pretty much everything in my life. I still haven't learned

Where they poured cement
in an attempt to turn the world grey,
the seed finds a crack
from which it bursts forth,
petals unfurling
in glorious revelation,
rushing towards the sun
in exaltation,
breaking borders
and denying monotony,
standing tall,
a velvet fist
raised in victorious salute.

Sometimes you're so gentle with me,
And after so long without you it makes me smile to see you be so careful not to hurt me.
Careful in a way you never were before.
And I, for my part, am much more durable than the girl you left.
You have returned with more tenderness,
And I have, in your absence,
Become less fragile.
I think it's beautiful.
