The Judge Oct 2015
The clock ticks idly,
as the sun forgets to rise.
People continue onward blindly,
not noticing its not in the sky.

They just think it's night,
and continue their routine.
I, however, still continue to fight.
On this eve of Halloween.

The monsters lurk in the shadows,
waiting their master's arrival.
I look out my window.
Hoping for my survival.
The Judge Oct 2015
The darkness calms me,
soothes me to sleep.
  Makes me imagine terrifying things,
that not even the eye can see.

I watch these creatures.
I watch them sleep.
  Sometimes smiling,
   As they imagine the deep.

They see flowers,
and beautiful things.
  Such as the sea,
   and birds that sing.

They see life,
For what it could be.
They feel emotions.
  They sip the sweet tea.

And as I sit here watching,
wanting to return.
  I watch you sleep.
   And wait for my turn.
The Judge Sep 2015
The pain in my shoulder.
The creak in my neck.
The falling boulder.
That caused the train wreck.

The screaming of souls.
The smoke rises.
My body feels so cold.
The sun arises.

The bodies are everywhere.
The color of roses on the floor.
"Does anyone care?"
I fall, living no more.
The Judge Sep 2015
When I look at the sky,
I wonder curiously.
"What if I can't be that guy?"

I think of the past.
I think of the future.
And think "Time sure goes by fast."

I look back at her,
then I smiled.
Then I knew I was sure.

My heart would never be black.
I said "I do."
And never looked back.
The Judge Sep 2015
Sometime I look in the sky.
And I make a wish.

I wish I could fly,
Or maybe be a fish.
I wish I could soar high.
That would be my wish.

I wish I could be a god.
The ruler of time.
Fill the people with awe.
And open their minds.

I wish I could sail.
In the great blue sea.
I'd hold onto the rail.
And feel free.

But It's just a wish.
and nothing more.
