~~~
When we first met,
I thought you'd be that friend —
My best friend,
The one I’d share everything with.
But it turned into something more.
More than friends.
We started dating,
We became close —
Really close.
I felt a deep connection with you.
I thought you were the one.
We shared everything.
Our laughs, our fears,
Even our silence.
Until one day…
You drifted away from me.
You were my light.
My sunrise.
But now you've left me in the dark,
Shattered.
My light is gone.
My life is in darkness.
I miss you every day —
Day and night.
I waited,
And waited,
Thinking you'd come back.
But you didn’t.
I was sitting on my bed,
Hopeful —
Still thinking you were gonna come back like the sunrise.
That you'd stay with me
Till sunset,
Till every sunrise and sunset.
But still, you didn’t.
You left me—
Suddenly, one night I realized:
You weren’t really the one.
That you’d never come back.
I’ve realized…
Memories last forever.
Not a person.
I've finally found the words
I've been looking for
Julie 4d
As she woke up,
The sun was rising.
She opened the window, looking out.
She breathed softly,
Looking at the sunrise.
Butterflies flew over the sunflowers.
She smiled, watching them.
She began to walk
To the garden, as her steps echoed
Through the house.
As she walks out
She started walking slowly to the sunflowers,
Gently picking the sunflower.
Then he came behind her,
Took the flower,
And placed it in her hair
As she smiled softly.
He then softly whispered in her ear—
“Morning, my love.”
"Morning, darling," she said.
He leaned close again, whispering in her ear—
"You're beautiful."
Then once more, he whispered
"You're not just beautiful—you're a sunrise and a sunset in one."
Something I felt
Julie 5d
He falls softly on her lap
Watching the stars
"They’re beautiful," he whispers
"But darling, you’re looking into my eyes," she says ~
They shimmer through my every ache. He whispers softly, still lost in her gaze.
The hush of morning drifts through golden light
The sun is slowly rising…
As she opens the windows
The warmth hits her skin softly
She closes her eyes
Enjoying the warmth
Breathing slowly
