No longer fooled by sweet disguise,
She shields her soul from judging eyes.
For trust, once given, now denied,
Leaves only emptiness inside.

I lay before you what my soul can bear,
A simple truth, a breath of living air.
Yet, raise no towers on my earthly dust,
For I am but a hand, in which you trust.

I send my words upon the whispered wind,
A fragile message, hoping it will find
Your listening ear, your heart's receptive space,
To bridge the gap, and time's relentless chase.
Each gust a sigh, a longing to be near,
A phantom touch, to banish every fear.

The path we tread, a winding way,
The garden blooms, or fades to gray,
And in your soul, what flowers sway?
Awnaeji Feb 22
You painted shadows, on my mental wall,
A darkened hallway, where I fear to crawl.
Each creaking sound, a phantom in the night,
A whispered threat, steals my inner light.
I walk on eggshells, fearing every tread,
The anxious path, your presence has instead.

Heartbreak isn't just about
shattering of love
It's the quiet collapse of the
world you built around someone
It's the mornings that feel to heavy
the nights that stretch too long
and the spaces between your ribs were
their absence now lingers
You don't just lose a person
You lose the version of yourself that existed with them
and though the pain feels endless like an echo that
refuses to fade there's a strange kind of beauty
In the way it reshapes you
Because even in breaking
You're becoming and one day you'll realize you're stronger
for surviving that ache.

SUN
You were darkness,
I searched for your light,
I've realized I'm worthy of the sun.
