Some people are so egocentric
that you have to knock them down a peg or two before they'll be your friend.
Humble the vain for friends that stain*
This generation after the 20th century
knows a little joy of the real life
all we know is an online world
and we wear devil faces in day
but we have angel faces at night
while drunk, ****** or drugged some other way

I became what I once hoped you wanted
Through years passed, years dead, and gone but not forgotten
With paintings of you dried like ink on skin
Through memories pondered, missed, and aged but not rotten

I never jumped off bridges except when i did for you
But still never enough to force moments to their crises
Never enough to satisfy, never enough to understand
But enough to never forget those ****** irises

A funny thought is, they never had a color to me
They were just what they were
Heavens gates couldn’t be so lovely
My world was those eyes, the rest was a blur

A funny thought is, that I am content
Finally understanding what it all meant
Love is not the beating of one's heart

but the single beat of two hearts
beating as one...

You complain,
You are given advice,
And yet still complaining.

Rather than leaving it be,
Changing for yourself.
You stay around them.
All of the toxic chemicals circles you.

And you let it.
So I must sit by and watch you crumble.
Giving you lying praise.
That’s what you want.

You shown no different.
Stay stuck by yourself. Don’t bring me down.

Do you realize the extent of your white privilege?
When watching our friends of color get murdered doesn’t make you livid?
If this were for them, there’d be bodies lining the streets
Meanwhile our president laughs and spreads lies with his tweets
Trump is an idiot
