So many of you on here are such talented writers,
I love reading what you guys and girls publish, some you can emotionally connect with, others just wow you with such phrases and imaginative writing styles...There is so much talent on here it is truly a wonderful community to be apart of, I don't think I have ever felt anymore accepted by any community the way I have been by this one, And all of you inspire me whether it be in your writing, comments and or just general conversations we may have, keep doing what you do best and keep those thoughts flowing and keep capturing all of our imaginations, and to those of you I haven't followed or read yet.
I'm looking very much forward to hopefully reading your stuff in the near future.

Love and Peace Benji James
Just a message from me to you.
This is why  lot of things don't work out for me. I have to high expectations that I can't even reach. I have to be careful because I just might hang myself by accident  just trying to reach them.
It's a favorite song
I hope you dance to it
With them forever long

So why do I lie here?
Thinking you're still there
Like good would always care
It's only fair
But I will never dare
That storm's already fared
Every time I turn they hit me again
and it hurts because
I can't breathe
or sleep
or think
or smirk
or frown
or talk
or cry,
without thinking
about those
vacuous memories
we made
that have woven
their way
into my
godforsaken
heart.
"No!" she shouted,
Pushing herself as far into her bed as she could.
Pressing her hands over her ears,
blocking out everything
but the music
blasting in from her ear buds.

She dissolved into the sound,
Forcing her mind
To let go
Of feelings such as touch and smell
Until she was weightless,
Floating into a void
Rather than sitting in the smog
Of cigarette smoke and alcohol
That was omnipresent in her house.

Just relax, she thought.

Letting the guitars and voices
Of her saviors wash over her,
She fell into a half sleep,
Where the only thing
Other than the music
Was the longing to live here,
Endlessly,
In a void of nothing.

Because if there's one thing she'd learned,
It was better to feel nothing at all
Than nothing but pain.
I can't believe you're making her feel this way. I wish you would just leave. I'd rather have no father at all than a father like you.
We were younger

You was lightning,

Fast and beautiful

And I was thunder,

Bold and truthful
I remember the feel of your hair
The way you had trouble looking at me
I braved through
I remember loving to look at you
Long arms spread out on that wooden table
You'd act so coy and confident
And I so badly wanted it

I was learning to flirt
If you want a girl,
You better work on those legs
And your hair?
It needs a change
"Well, how should I fix it?"
Do this and that,
I refused to do it for you
Because my poor stomach and chest
Were already feeling too much
I wouldn't have handled the spark
If our skin would have brushed
But I braved through it,
Did it a little bit

And we laughed while it got dark,
We laughed like we were little kids
And our faces were red
But it wasn't all from the laughing
And we'd catch each other staring
Learned to admire that sacred ground

We were younger
You was lightning,
Fast and beautiful
And I was thunder,
Bold and truthful

I stare at my wall now
Wonder how your hair feels now
Wonder who loves your legs now
LOOK

I am SORRY that I am the way I am

I'm sorry that I start to panic when someone touches me
especially a guy
even though if its in a friendly way
I just can't help to flinch
I always think about the people that hurt me in the past

I am sorry that I constantly break down
I cant control my mind for consuming my emotions
my mind is always at war with my heart
I cant help to get flash backs of the past of what they did to me

Im sorry for hiding my feelings
I get nervous to tell you because Im scared of upsetting you
I had people that I upset when I always told them how I felt
I'm also not an open book
I even feel vulnerable just someone looking at the content of the book

I am sorry that I always ask for reassurance
Im just trying to get it memorized in my head so I can believe you
I want to make sure your being honest
your answers dont change
and you mean it
People drilled bad things into my head so I cant help it

I am sorry for constantly apologizing
I always think its my fault
I grew up people putting the blame on me
sometimes I can't tell if its my fault or not

LOOk
I
I ..am
sorry that I am me
