In this moment all I can possibly wonder is the way I will remember you,
Will I remember the sweat on your bottom lip, like thumb tacks puncturing a map,
Puncturing the places I would like to visit;

Or will I remember the way your eyes look in sunlight,
Iridescent and blue like the sea the day after a storm.
Except you are not a reflection of something else.
You have not shriveled up and died,
Or reserected yourself from your most sinuous nightmare.

I always wanted to take you apart ; leave your fragments to sun dry.

That is the silver barrier that separates us,
I am wasted potential, a sick twisted mind, I will spit in your mouth and smile.
I have been thrown to the vultures,
And although I clawed my way out,
Something inside of me has died.
A candle has burned out;
And then there’s you.
And you light up the sky with sparks,
And set my whole world ablaze.

We are burning,
Burning down the cities and engulfing the towns,
Swamping the planet with embers.
We are a flood of inferno,
A glittering holocaust.

I have loved before, and that was much softer,
It’s different when you don’t know how bad it hurts. I could write a book about all the different places in my body I felt heartbreak.

I wonder if I will always carry this flame with me. I could keep my heart in my pocket, leave my memories in the photo frames and card board boxes.

Oh dear,
If only it was that easy.

there’s shame I know
In what I do.
Splitting skin,
allowing precious

                                              bloodletting
I try to stop,
but nothing works,
nothing relieves pressure,
nothing positive

                                              helps
the way that
opening veins,
splitting capillaries
does, how it allows

                                              me
to finally gain
real control,
the sharpness of
the silver lets me

                                              focus.

Stay sweet, my love.
And fill the room with kisses, hugs, and cuddlebugs.

Stay sweet, my love.
And end your days with tickle monsters and giggles.

Stay sweet, my love.
Don't let the crudeness of this world corrupt your tiny hands and
your sweet smiles. Don't let it crush the soft pitter-patter of your feet across the tiles, or dull your bright oceanic eyes.

Stay sweet, my love.
Because that's all you have here. Don't allow the harshness of others dull your sunshine- because once it's gone, you can't get it back. Show the world your innocence, and show them how special it is. Help it rediscover it's light.

Stay sweet, my love.
And don't let anyone dull your rainbow. Spread your colors for all to see, and maybe one day they will see-

Just how sweet you can be.

Fog and black clouds surround the air,
Gloomy faces, tired eyes from weekend festivities,
Two empty days isn't fair,
We didn't fit in many activities,

Miserable, sorrowing over deprived sleep,
Eyes filled and thoughts weep,
Friday please will you remain,
Monday I order you to refrain.
Just a silly poem about Monday's . After all, everybody hates Monday's!

"It's a frozen morning "
said the earth to the sun

"Please rain"
said the ground to the clouds

"You're going to die"
said the spider to the fly

"Goodbye"
said the woman
to the sleeping guy

"Don't go"
said the guy to the setting sun

"Come home "
said the house
now all alone

"Let's try, one more time "
said the message on her phone

"Our time has come
Our time has gone "
said the four wheels
on the gravel road

"One more log of mother madrone"
said the woodstove to the cold, cold, room.

It was like knowing the words to the song my whole life but then you kissed me and I finally heard the music
