What
Sea of
Green Irish clovers
Surround
The
Island castles of Ireland
She embraces me in chill
Comforts me with her will

Touches my heart in kisses
Twisting in the seditious

Her sadness blankets my heart
Her beauty right on mark

For she has stars in her eyes that haunt me
Her compassion reaps all sea to sea

I am married to the night
My Angel of delight
The running river of words;
from whence does it spring
& whence does it gather;
what ocean of words await
this traveler on its rapids?
love
is
a lantern
that
burns
inside
your heart
what
guide us
through
the fog
and
i
still
burn for you
A whiff of smell
You left in the air
Keeps aloft my sail
In the rough weather.
A hint of smile
You left in my eye
Drives me miles,
Keeps my spirit high.
A hope for warmth
You left in my heart
Still fires my hearth,
Refuses to depart.
A seed of romance
You sowed in me
Gave love a chance
To grow as a tree.
And I sing my melodies to the
crystal waters, hoping-- praying
that the sound of the ocean waves
will carry my song back to you.
