You calmed the monster inside me.
You taught her how to love and to be loved,
you caressed her heart and soul
and you gave warmth to her cold heart,
you healed the wound that did not heal for a long time.
The formerly fierce became meek and mild,
you did not show that you were afraid of her
so, she showed her weakness because she knew she was safe next to you.
Then, eventually, I realized
I am the monster I am talking about.
