I am not jealous
of what came before me.

Come with a man
on your shoulders,
come with a hundred men in your hair,
come with a thousand men between your ******* and your feet,
come like a river
full of drowned men
which flows down to the wild sea,
to the eternal surf, to Time!

Bring them all
to where I am waiting for you;
we shall always be alone,
we shall always be you and I
alone on earth
to start our life!
Isn't a habit as such,

write when fancies
burden much.
Wake up to reality
Seems like I’ve got an affinity
For playing with your center of gravity
Can I paint your mental walls red?
Hop on a plane just to find myself in your bed
Possible....
Some might even say probable
But only if you bow down
To worship my invisible crown
Misled, misread but still a thoroughbred
Undeniably ready to be ridden
There are no misgivings
You want vivd?
Tie me up in ribbons
Enjoy my only submission

Its been a game for as long as I remember.
Everything said was one move made
A move always calculated, but
Don't let them see the feelings there.

It'll ruin the fun.
And you'll be alone.

And then you came along.

Simple thoughts alive in color
Vibrant and warm, I swore the sun
Couldn't shine brighter than that
Beaming smile; it just wouldn't quit.

I could hardly believe it was mine.
I could hardly believe I was yours.
"And in that moment, I swear we were infinite"
- Stephen Chbosky
Beyond the line of high tide
the boat rests on tilted side

her rolled in sails hear dreamily
songs of winds from the high sea!
One good thing you did
and end of day
you are a man.
My own darkness terrifies me,
I am right to be afraid
For there is nothing...
Absolutely nothing,
That I wouldn't do
To avoid this unforgiving hell

My mind is the best prison, it tortures me so well.
I do not ask for youth, nor for delay
in the rising of time's irreversible river
that takes the jewelled arc of the waterfall
in which I glimpse, minute by glinting minute,
all that I have and all I am always losing
as sunlight lights each drop fast, fast falling.

I do not dream that you, young again,
might come to me darkly in love's green darkness
where the dust of the bracken spices the air
moss, crushed, gives out an astringent sweetness
and water holds our reflections
motionless, as if for ever.

It is enough now to come into a room
and find the kindness we have for each other
— calling it love — in eyes that are shrewd
but trustful still, face chastened by years
of careful judgement; to sit in the afternoons
in mild conversation, without nostalgia.

But when you leave me, with your jauntiness
sinewed by resolution more than strength
— suddenly then I love you with a quick
intensity, remembering that water,
however luminous and grand, falls fast
and only once to the dark pool below.
