One day I looked out my window
And saw a squirrel waving at me
My dog goes crazy
As I walk out the door
The squirrel scurries over to me
And I almost faint
Because he starts to talk
" Thanks for having 2 bird feeders
because only one is squirrel proof"
Says the little squirrel
and he runs away.
I made this poem with my friend

I lost my dog Mozart
To neurological damage
My Mozart
March 24, 2020
At least Mozart
Is out of misery
And at peace

Mozart...I miss you

Every shade and every tint
Affects your view
Through the lens of color
The world is new to you

When a color shines so bright
It goes through your brain, right?
through the forge of happy and sad
Color comes out in your vibes

The fast energy of powerful red
The nervous mood of orange

The bright cheer of intense yellow
A peaceful green that is mellow

The relaxing focus of blue
The royal deep of sleepy purple

Colors are everywhere
Around the world
So when you see a color
Bright and bold

The lens of color
Is yours to hold
School project about how color affects mood and emotions.

The hallways are so crowded
With students like a school of fish
The Endless Sea of Knowledge

So easy to get swept away
Far from where you want to be
Your locker, your class, your connection of P.E.
The Endless Sea of Knowledge

The students absorb their studies,
Like a sponge from the sea
The Endless Sea of Knowledge

Knowledge is the key
To life above the sea
Out in the real world
Where we'll eventually be
So use your time wisely
While here in...

The music is playing.
All eyes are on me.
The arena is silent.
My choreography is my enemy.

I begin my prep,
For something I’ve never done.
The Axel
The Axel
It’s the only one.

I shiver and I shudder.
It is oh so cold.
I really need to do this,
To win the Olympic Gold

My toe-pick hits the ice
And makes a loud Chk.
I go up and rotate,
Then I come back down and stick.

I did it! It was awesome!
I take a pose.
The crowd erupts.
I froze.

I looked up at the scoreboard.
I looked at my coaches so bold.
And I found out,
That I had won the Olympic Gold.

Oh washed upon the sand.
Cracked open by the waves.
In between the clam meat,
A shiny pearl there lay.

The merpeople gawk and envy,
As a crippled man picks it up.
Takes it through the sand dunes,
Across the open lane,
And up, up, up
to his apartment

He sets it down beside him,
And off to bed he goes.
When the morning sun shines brightly
A handsome man arose.
Made by My friend and I.

Things That Matter
by:  RLee (10 year old)

My Mom and Dad are loving and kind
They teach me discipline and respect
My Mom and Dad support me
And provide a safe environment
Full of joy and humor
My family matters to me

Animals make me feel happy
Some animals are trained to entertain and amaze
My dog Ramsay; rest in peace Mozart
Sweet kind and loving
She gives my family companionship
Animals matter to me

Mrs.Maguire prepared me for Mrs.Szigety
Mrs.Szigety prepared me for Mrs.Noggle
Mrs.Noggle prepared me for Ms.B
Pinecrest is preparing me for life
Pinecrest is pride and spirit, safe, loving and caring
Pinecrest matters to me

Fr.Matthew is a big part of my family
He baptized me into the Catholic Faith
He gave my Mom and I First Communion
Fr.Matthew is there in times of joy and sadness
Fr.Matthew matters to me

These things matter
Because God made them
God is loving and kind
He is watching you and me
God is almighty and powerful
God matters to me
If you like it please let  me know.

The frosty air bites
As I go looking for my elf
There I find her in my  backyard
Sitting on a trampoline
That Santa got for me
One Christmas Eve
