Hearing your name feels like a knife to my heart.
Speaking your name takes all my effort,
As though the words are suffocating me.
Yet...
Your name never leaves my mind.
In all my thoughts.
Over and over again...
Repeating a thousdand times a day.

*And I miss hearing you say my name
In the moments that I myself am not thinking of you... When I'm not being reminded of you... Somebody else asks me of you...

I haven’t written in a while,
but i guess I can blame that on your smile.
Because when you suffocate me,
everything gets blurry and I can’t breathe.
So when I can barely touch a wall
because everything is spinning and I break on the fall
how the **** should I be able to touch
pen to paper and make anything other
than a disaster of what should be words
but barely come together to form the idea
of what happens when you fall in love.

I am a rib
pulled out from your cage.
I am the apple
pressed against your lips.
I am the warmth
within your breath.
The sweet nectar
on your fingertips.
Your heart was made
but your soul was mystic.
The otherworldly flow
of spirit
within boundless space.
A warrior of flesh and blood
inside a
mirror-image
of my face.
"bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh;"
What is this you have done?
You,
my demise but still
I become the mother
of all the living.
For the dust I am,
I will return.

If I could write
Like you
I would have
Kings at
My feet
And would
Rule the world
With my tongue
For all the poets (unnamed) whose poetry just astounds me!!!
