Should I be more masc. or not at all?
Am I too short, or just too tall?
Why must I be cursed to cry,
Need an "X", but got a "Y"
Be forced to flee when none pursue,
Who'd ask that of you?

i guess anyone can be dragged into some zetigeist point of interest; and as anyone, here are my two-pence argument.

so i'm listening to this "dicussion" -
or what became a heated debate...
firstly, since dialectics only works
           one-on-one between only
two people, and is subsequently
reduced to screaming and shouting
if staged in a public place
                    with interjections from
flies and gnats who throw in their
own two-pence worth of supporting
either of the two people having
   a "discussion"...
         well... another thing about original
dialectics,
                 and modern dialectics?
the *mediator
...
                   in original dialectics there
was no mediator, unless of course
if you suppose socrates was the mediator,
even so, that ancient mediator
             asked questions...
the modern mediator?
                 doesn't ask anything other than
asking one speaker to not interrupt
the other speaker...
the topic of discussion i was
listening to?
             transexuality...
           ****** confusing,
                  something confusing was bugging
me...
why would i have to call a man
        a transwoman?
                       shouldn't i be calling a man
transman?
                   otherwise i'll be confusing pronouns...
or not using them "properly"...
i just think that proper nouns are
not being used...
it's not for the man to identify himself
as a transwoman...
           why?
i'm the "cis" man who's supposed
to identify the man, as a woman,
                     and what happens then?
the man retains his inner-trans conceptualisation
i.e. i am beyond being a man,
there i must show to cis men that
i am...
e.g.? i was "fooled" by blaire white,
i thought she was a woman...
and i still couldn't believe she wasn't when
she did a video showing her pre-transition
photographs...
          see!?    what's this ******* about
improper pronoun usage?
what is happening is, AN IMPROPER NOUN
usage, by the man, who is a transman
within himself, but a woman to me,
therefore i have no problem in finding her
attractive;
it would be easier to decide in
Scotland, i know that... is a woman who internalised
her transition and became a transwoman
was wearing a kilt... and phoom!
the garden of eden, and a river running
though it, down the middle.

For a long period of time, we have been told to conform to the different standards set for us by the society. We grew up in a system where having milk colored skin and lean, slender bodies is the only acceptable image of beauty. Several advertisements and individuals will try to tell you what you need to buy or do to improve yourself, and I’m writing this letter to say that you are superb; a creation of purpose.

In a world where violence, fear and hate continue to exist, it is essential for us to unify and persist in eradicating the barriers that have been placed before us. Regardless of our differences - our backgrounds, religions, ethnicity, political views, jobs, academic standing, and flaws or perfections – we all want the same thing in life: respect, love and success. We all want to be seen and esteemed for who we are but we must also know that a women’s success doesn’t equalize with another’s failure. It is important that we work forward in life hand in hand, rather than to step on others just to rise above everyone else. Know that there is a time, place and an opportunity for all of us to accomplish our dreams. Know that you are able to think for yourself – despite of what the world keeps telling you. I believe that women like you and me are capable of creating history every day. I believe in the power of inseparability, that we could push the boundaries and open other people’s minds to a better discourse if we collectively act to make it happen.

As we celebrate International Women’s Month, I encourage you to find the good in the women around you. Let yourself be inspired by their experiences setbacks and victories. By doing this, we not only strengthen our respect for one another, but we open doors for others and ourselves.

This is letter is for all the women who’s looking for their place in this world. Whoever you may be – a student, a businesswoman, a coach, a lawyer, a janitor, a musician, a scientist, a military, a teacher, a traveler, a doctor, an athlete, a poet, or a transwoman – know that you are smart, beautiful, inspirational and strong.

Thank you for being yourself.

Sincerely,
Pat

Self identity
Is about the real you
And who you are
And how you feel
As an individual
The only thing missing
Is acceptance
Of self identification
I personally
Self identify as a Woman
Said the post op Transwoman
But generally
I self identify
Simply
As me

I am living with myself
My past as a loving father
And my present
As a loving woman, and father
Of my beautiful daughter
Today
On Father's Day
I received two cards from her
Both said Happy Fathers Day
But one had the Transgender flag
Covering the front of it
The gift of Malteser Truffles
Were also very welcome!
And i was kind of grateful
That they were not pink
Some traditions do need to be maintained😅
The significance
Of the transgender card
Is the inclusivity of it
Not just for me, but also my daughter
That she can now easily buy a card
For a trans parent
Without it having to be a major issue
I'm aware how lucky i am
And that there are younger people out there
That would love to get a card of this ilk
from their parents, birthday, xmas....
An open hearted gift of love
Breaks down many a barrier
saw a blue/white/pink pigeon
it landed on my balcony
i made no assumptions as to it's gender
it then took wing
and flew away

Writing A Wrong
In my application
To qualify
For a free assessment
And Guidance
To my poetic writes
Or wrongs
I have to declare
My gender
And sexuality
As this will aide
And advance
My chances of qualifying
So i tick boxes
Little boxes
Built just the same
That reveal my legacy
Not my PC shame
That i am a transwoman
That i am a lesbian
That i am this
And i am that
Should i wear
A particular hat?
Personally
I'm just me
Being pigeon-holed
Confined to little
Claustrophobic tick boxes
That are meant
To conform
Or confirm
My identity
Which in reality
Gets lost
In a maelstrom
Of conformity
I am just me
The only difference
Is the way i now ***!
And the only
Bush on bush experience
I've so far had
Was when i peed
Behind a car
at a festival campsite
Under the twilight
Under the stars
Not realising
As i squatted in my innocence
That a bush beneath me
Was nettles!
There came no sighs
From between my thighs
But i was at least
Relieved!
