sail boats
and oceans

and really anything that floats and carries a person

far away
in a big body of water

I don’t think I have to say why

it’s obvious

I’m sure everyone has a thing for sail boats
and oceans

I like busses too
I seem to get really impatient on them, and I like that a lot
because I know I can’t do anything about it

it’s a game of
Will I Go Crazy Or Will I Have A Snooze?

I like being stuck between being stuck and being unstuck

one day I want to sit on a bus for 24 hours and see what happens
(I will be doing a lot of that in the month of October)

I’ll bring books, my iPod and movies to watch on my laptop
but I’ll probably just stare out the window hours on end
tall buildings will turn into blurry trees and blurry trees
will turn into pixilated neon canola crops
and there’ll be cows and ponies and one long road

to Montreal
then Toronto

then who the **** knows where because I am already dreading
going home after the trip
even though I haven’t left for the trip yet

it’s months to come

I have a thing for finding a new home
everywhere I go

but I never find one

I like the process of looking for a really long time
then giving up from discouragement and sad feelings of
abandonment stemmed from my childhood daddy issues

I’m pretty sure everyone has daddy-abandonment issues

I have a thing for assuming every one has the same problems
that I do

but it turns out that there are loads of girls that like to eat
lots
and don’t feel ashamed of the extra scoop of
double fudge ice cream

and there are teenagers that get along with their fathers
and look up to them
they go out for lunches and joke about dates and fix cars
and tell their little girls they’ll always be their little girls
and go on awkward shopping sprees and barbecue

but everyone has a thing for sail boats and water
we all want to escape

our eating disorder and drinking problem
a skinny body or a bulky body
bad grades and perfectionism
the people pleasing pushovers
fathers and mothers and old european traditions
family dinners that go perfectly and are so boring because of it

the fragility of feeling unique
the arrogance of feeling unique
the lack of faith in ourselves

being alone
After comparing lives with you for years
I see how I’ve been losing: all the while
I’ve met a different gauge of girl from yours.
Grant that, and all the rest makes sense as well:
My mortification at your pushovers,
Your mystification at my fecklessness—
Everything proves we play in separate leagues.
Before, I couldn’t credit your intrigues
Because I thought all girls the same, but yes,
You bag real birds, though they’re from alien covers.

Now I believe your staggering skirmishes
In train, tutorial and telephone booth,
The wife whose husband watched away matches
While she behaved so badly in a bath,
And all the rest who beckon from that world
Described on Sundays only, where to want
Is straightway to be wanted, seek to find,
And no one gets upset or seems to mind
At what you say to them, or what you don’t:
A world where all the nonsense is annulled,

And beauty is accepted slang for yes.
But equally, haven’t you noticed mine?
They have their world, not much compared with yours,
But where they work, and age, and put off men
By being unattractive, or too shy,
Or having morals—anyhow, none give in:
Some of them go quite rigid with disgust
At anything but marriage: that’s all lust
And so not worth considering; they begin
Fetching your hat, so that you have to lie

Till everything’s confused: you mine away
For months, both of you, till the collapse comes
Into remorse, tears, and wondering why
You ever start such boring barren games
—But there, don’t mind my saeva indignatio:
I’m happier now I’ve got things clear, although
It’s strange we never meet each other’s sort:
There should be equal chances, I’d’ve thought.
Must finish now. One day perhaps I’ll know
What makes you be so lucky in your ratio

—One of those ‘more things’, could it be? Horatio.

Normal
The word pertaining to the behavior of the majority of the masses, yet I refuse the title like unmixed blood cells, pushing the average in me back until I’m taken by my higher self, my true form.
But you wouldn’t know much about that. You can’t wait to get home to watch TV or play your video games.
It’s normal.
Higher
Whether through drugs or levitation, getting high is easy. However, the average cannot reach this level, they cannot display this power. Only we can, us being the lyrical miracles that the world has once craved and the world being those around us that give us our inspirations.
Higher.
And I guess I’m a space shuttle. Yet I have felt no high in chemicals, no uplifting in elevators, just the heightening fuel that ignites in my brain. Yet some can’t take the heat of a burning mind filled with questions. But can you?
We are poems, poetry, poetic expressions. But it’s a dual edged blade of which we have all found. We’re all special, from A.D.D to suicidal, we have the experience to write tragedy. From love to loss we have the reason to write about romance. Love, fear, heroics, sadness, strength, all poetic expressions to us.
We are poets
The people who everyone looks at for supporting. Some of us are tough, some of us are pushovers, and some of us are pacifistic. Yet the reality of our gifts open up a new world for us.
We are poems
Our writings speak to our souls, that’s one more connection from our brains to our hearts and the entities beyond. I write about it and you understand where I come, my point of view. My pain, your inquiry, yet to hear it being read is poetic justice to our emotions.
We are communications
No, I don’t mean through phones or emails. I’m talking through spirit. You see a poet down, you help, period, as we are one and the same in heart.  A symbol of independence to those who forget the meaning of the word. But we’re a community and a family, so I love you like a brother or a sister because of the natural familiarity between us.
We are poetic.
Our lives are filled with instances where we simply need to express. Oh, the sweet and sour irony. Our day to day experiences speak for our poetic natures. Whether jamming to Taylor Swift or Tracy Chapman or Migos or even Luke Bryan, musics tell our moods and words tell our stories, our tales, our liveliness and oneness with our selves.
Poetic beings are we, and we are
Poetic

In the nature of a Leo, they must be the ruler of a place, weather if it's at work or at home, or elsewhere.
Once she found her throne, she rules it until the very end.
She's for sure a very picky creature, weather if it's music, personality, appearance, most of all for her it's fashion;
Never talk back to her WHATSOEVER!
Or else she'll growl at you.
If you pursue her anger by bursting her bubble,
then she'll attack you viciously.
The only way to get into a lions heart,
is too respect their territory and be very loyal and on good terms with them:
honesty and trust are the few keys to unlocking the gates to its heart.
Once you've done that, she'll surrender to you, and will be loyal to you.
That's one of the few weakness of a Leo.
They may be ALL MIGHTY, but in the end,
they're pushovers to the ones they love, hold cherish and are dear to them~
One must be a lion tamer in order to get along with a Leo~

Yeah pretty much it's based on my sis who's a leo, older than me by, ten years, scary as **** when mad, but there's good in her. She'd be cray cray forever in my heart~ :')

you whispered “i love you”
like if the world heard you
it would take me away
but what you didn’t know
is that i was going to be the reason
i had never felt so much love
it scared me
to open up to something so foreign
and not have any idea what to do
frightened me more than anything else
i was so in love with you
eight months later and i’m still writing about you
because i’ve been confused
and lost
if only i could make you understand
that my father was never around
the closest man in my life died from addiction
and how i didn’t grow up in a home of true love
then maybe, just maybe
you would give me another chance
we have both changed so much
i’ve lost countless people
won battles that seemed impossible
and learned to be less judgmental
you’ve been trying new things
living a different life
but also struggling
yet we have both found confidence
we aren’t the same small, shy, pushovers we used to be
if we were together
we could rule this world
live the life we have both urned for
now all i urn for is you
because i failed to show you how much i cared
i’m ready
so **** ready
to yell “i love you” and let the entire world know

Sober minded, clovers that's bolder is told the finest, turn loose, reduce this solider, pushovers that told their kindness, minus his liveliness, crying "Buy me, I'll die a *****", I can only just imagine the sadness in flashing this, lavishness, with no class, I'm an *** if I'm grabbing this, **** this sash, plus this brass, this task, I'd love to miss, laugh last, fast madness, but cruising to soothe my way, no attractiveness, in fact I'm not ravished, I move away, who's to say, running is gunning for punishment, if you won by ******* this blunt to escape that ruckus *****, **** that ****, stuck in destruction, where is the hype?, I'd like to get my stripes, such a sight to see in the night!, though this life likes tough and then tougher to touch the ****** and delude, the clovers that think they're sober, THIS SOLDIER'S INTERLUDE.
