"mightnight" poems
Take me down to the river
Wash these knots out of my stomach
I need to run
Free
Clear my head
I make myself hard
I make myself sharp
I'm ready to fight
Until they slow down
Almost to a stop
Slowing down right by me
& in this moment
I realise
I am not fearless
Indestructible
Fast.
I am alone
Past mightnight
Prey
To be hunted
Devoured
Disposed
Not hard
But soft
And slow
- I just wanted to run
& now I'll get my chance.
Should have worn a hoodie.
10% cotton
90% asking for it

Mightnight black ravens soar past the blood red moon as the bells on the towering Cathedral church toll twelve. Silently, the dead blackened trees watch as my chest, heavy with pain, struggles to let me continuously breathe in and out. Little moonlight shines through the tree tops, causing the blade in my hand to glisten silver and red. My head falls upon the ***** bloodstained leaves that lie, dead, all around me. I long to be free, to be gone from this world and all the adversities that surround me. I long to be dead. Crimson flows from my body, a river of blood pours out. The pain is almost overbearing, but as I lay dying, I welcome it. I embrace it like an old friend, knowing that this will be the last thing I ever feel. And then, with one last shuddering breath, I break free into the night to soar with the ravens above, leaving my cold, lifeless corpse, the only thing that had tied me to this earth, behind.

The spark comes out at night
Who said anyone needed light?
The sun goes down and mightnight nears
I know soon I'll have nothing to fear
This is where we shine
because In my heart I know youre mine
As time flys and I see the glisten in your eye
I know I never want to say goodbye

Amidst midnight breeze,
I wander, I wonder
Life's streets.
Amidst midnight breeze,
I miss, I wish,
A presence.. Bittersweet.
Amidst midnight breeze,
I see, I feel
the birds...Sleep.
Amidst midnight breeze,
I feels the love,
So painfully sweet.
Amidst midnight breeze,
The fog tickles,
Teases me deep.
Amidst midnight breeze,
I feel a silence,
So calm, so deep.
Amidst Mightnight breeze,
I feel the stars,
Wish luck to seas.
Amidst midnight breeze,
I see, I feel
The earth prepares it
For the morning feast.
