The kiss of sea salt leaves
rouge the face of age

Youth drowns in the vacant eyes of the old man
as the flood gates release the sorrow of lost glory days

Each breath rises heavy in the memories of the one who is calling from the cemetery trying to raise dead dreams

When did the rust turn steel into crumbling dust that is now collected by the winds of time

Only the lost look of youth remains in the glazed eyes and the steely rust of time eroded by the winds

I dreamt it snowed
Nectar and powdered sugar,
Dusting nature's lips.

I recall the kiss from her
Not-so-innocent curiosity,
Come-hither in her arched brow.

How the morning breeze
Grew wanton,
Lifting her nightdress,
Until naked she pirouetted about
The cloister garth.

I dreamt of flowering moonlight
And his potent stem,
Filling her
With stars and shivers,
As she burst, for goodness sake,
From all the little blissful parties
Drumming her garden wall.

I dreamt of fecundity
And funnel cakes,
Soft and sweet and round,
Her milk a spring,
Laden with gift of life.

Intuitive opaque areolae,
The shape of things to come,
The very ones from which
She'll nurse their young.
To the amazing wonder that is a woman's body

Against the hazy sky
Mountains, seen grotesque
Frightening monsters, poking out
Here, there and all around
In the glinting darkness
The ravine, like a mythical snake
Gapes its mouth
Mist hovers,
Spider webs hang
As dew spangled veils
The leaves are tears stained
By the Night’s frozen grief

In stealthy steps,
With the jingle of anklets,
The wind comes to shake off the drops
And down they drip one by one
As the grass below shiver
At the sudden shock.
The leaves, rid of the load, flutter-
Faint stir of life!

From a distant habitation
The rooster in sharp notes
Sounds the siren
The East bleeds
As shafts of gold cuts through her breast
Darkness recedes,
Birds begin to chirp.

Slowly,
Slowly, parting curtains
The day emerges
Like a lazy boy
Disinclined to be roused from sleep

The mind is infinite
The core of our inner being
The world it shows
Admirable and to truly believe
Like nobody knows
Need not know
Connected and righteous in its own rights
For the world to believe in you
The truth of being true to self
For the truth, does wrong to none

As the wild & wide ocean believes in self
Rumbles and roars
From the deepest part of its core
It never depletes
The sun, the moon and the wind
Eternally bound, the bond
Replete
The inner circle of life
Oceanic core infinite
