Poetry is found
in life's every corner
if only your eyes will open
to each moment's wonder

Every time I feel your touch in my mind
Tormented by your serene stare
Heartbroken you are not mine
Everyone has to notice from my eyes
Reading your poetry in my mind
Earth was never meant for you
Alone without me
Look my way and say it please....once

Every idea can be more effectively put across
(in my view)  with a better choice of words

Two candles, side by side,
Arms of thread—their aid—
Wrapped around as they hug,
Gracious flames of burning shrug.

Two candles, side by side,
They burned and radiated light.
Hesitance grew as they stood;
They burned their thread—passionate mood.

One cried, the other raged.
Flames engulfed the fabric red.
Two candles, side by side—
A burning heart, in between, laid.

Smaller the candles grew,
Glory to the light they drew.
One burning, the other hides—
Two candles, held side by side.
