The sunny satellite
guarded
our home planet
throughout
the night
Like a crystal
ball
in
the clean
space
The moonlit
night
has ended
but
the plump and
mustard
moon
hasn't waned
in the violet
firmament
The moonscape of the morn
beautifies
the noiseless
dawn

Flowers
are my real friends
I know their language
They're
never
crestfallen
Our friendship
is a blessing
Farah Taskin Dec 2021
the red
rose
has
been
in
flower

it'll shed
its
petals
anon

It
happened
that
they were
face to face
when
Cupid
smiled
on the sly
The
telepathist
didn't
pretend
The
thought
reader could
apprehend.

Knowledge is not like water
It's like the nectar
We learn
and earn
knowledge
We quench our thirst

We behold
the seashells on the beach
the poisonous
fireflies
the silvery fountains
We use microscopes
telescopes
binoculars
However
We can view
a few
things
Lots
of things remain
unseen

We feel
We relax
We imagine
We listen
We disdain

At the end of the day
We're weary.

I love the way you talk
I love the way you smoke
I love the you rock
the parties
The DJs can't
excite
me
The disco lights fade.
Farah Taskin Nov 2021
the feeling is sporadically
my bestie
the feeling is frequently
my enemy
