One of a few things I'm sure of is
With all the craziness around
You truly are the love of my life
Hidden inside a cave
With out the slightest of chance to come out
Only to be stronger
Vulnerability becomes foreordained
When even the purest hearts fall victim
For they are easily drawn to the calibre of iniquity
Had a dream holding you
Your cheeks dimpled
Had a nightmare that you were gone
All I could see was the beauty fade away
It could be strange
But it's you I long for
Even when the lights turn dim
All I see is your perfect little face
My pride
You truly are my human lily
I cry out of love
Say words out of anger
Promise never to fall victim
Yet i am easily taken away
Today i don't cry that i miss you
I only do so to free my soul off the burden of not wanting to move on
For that would be wicked and selfish not letting my heart create room for another
An all better land awaits
Just like bright light at the depth of the ocean
Maybe the darkness could become light one day
Maybe the pain could be healed and we are all free from sorrow
Maybe the furthest of stars could finally shine with brighter light
Maybe be our efforts will eventually payoff
Maybe, maybe not someday
The puzzle of uncertainty still takes over
If only someone could tell the future

As he looks up in the sky
he sighs and wonders
he gapes and almost staggers lost
He sees one surviving star shinning brighter than the wandering lot
casting his thoughts like fish net
he makes a wish to his loved ones maybe they laughed
at the old terrible joke of the palm squeezing greeting
Or cried about another broken ***
The kids must really be my blood
And maybe she laughed the same
terrible laugh
Or grimaced in similar ancient grief
Lined across her fore head the day l last saw her

He stood on the front porch
wandering through
Anger in his voice as he speaks
The message on his face could be
decoded
He roams with misery everywhere he goes
His reputation preceeds him
