Plans and appointments
Traditions and used to be
Changes and acceptance
Patience is a virtue that is necessary
Not easy to attain and more than just waiting
Nothing is easy but the trick is to make it look that way
Life isn't easy but the trick and lesson is to live it the very best that you can
Learning is essential never stop doing that
Never say never
The greatest city in the world rebounded from 911
The wound healed but the scar survived
Just as recent events will
We changed and accepted
Nobody likes that
Not in an instant, not tomorrow, not going with the flow
Abnormal, no
Real, Honest, and true
With depth and character

Spending the future,
saving the past

Tomorrow debentured
—moments that last

(The New Room: January, 2021)
-

i wish a memory of
the old store that used
to operate down the street–

the pinball machine that
almost always would put
out an extra ball with a
bump on the side,

and that fella who ran it,
still offering a coin
from the register just to
hear me play one more

as he swept footprints
of the day off
the front steps

and

then left me soda on the
windowsill for my
bike ride home as he
locked up–

would stop reminding me
how easy it is
for kids of to—day
to sweep all this off
into streets of oblivion—

noticing how the road
where it once stood
is so uneven
compared to the
rest of the grade...

The world crawls on my skin...
And I scratch till i bleed...

For life has forced hands
but opened variety
Opportunity shows
And so i take

Running with bleeding legs
And adrenaline high
Opportunity i hold
And thus i show.....

I am here and I'm screaming
But the world is tone deaf....

So i scream louder!
Come see me at Venom4urlife on YouTube for more....
I haven't posted in so long....so now its time
Go through each day with sparrow’s eyes,
Which can see a crumb from afar,
Look for crystals in waterfalls,
See the wonder of night time’s star.

Catch the rainbows in soap bubbles,
Hear music in chattering streams,
Enjoy the sound of falling rain,
Marvel each evening’s sunlight beams.

Inhale the fragrance of flowers,
Share all moments of joy and pain,
Live your life each minute fully,
For you will not be here again.
Gently softly now I float
a small wispy whitish cloud
unto your ocean
