He woke hung over the bright sunlight
Dehydrated with eyes sensitive to light
Not Remembering a blue
What happened the night before
So much has change with say
Fear of the unknown leaving the past
Everything slipping away
Grasping for life trying to find balance
More peace within and base
when the stars all die
and you leave us in the cold
are we expected to climb
like were in some kind of hole
when the light all fades
and we waste away
what words would you then
begin to say

Kafka Joint
To get it done,
I tried everything,
I might as well give it up and just do it.

Ashly Kocher
Out of nowhere
The water starts to run
Flood gates open up
Eyes fill up in a split second
Now I’m drowning in my life

candle chandeliers
burn around slow moving clocks
winters long darkness

Words have the power
A basket of them
Effective effervescent
Freshly plucked
Quite like the flowers
Fragrant

A garland a bouquet
Maybe, just a few
At the feet of the deity
Even the wildflowers, one sees
Bring peace

Words have the power
Use them freely
Once in a while set yourself free
Many I have known, since ever
Have chosen the quiet

Locking the fragrance
Flowers wilt
The voice devoid
Locked inside
Into the vast void

Words have the power
Brings in a sense of belonging
Dare to bare, helps to bear
All that is
