Liquid Lies
Abbie Affleck Dec 2021
Crystals cry down the window pane, as tears like diamonds wet the page. No light reflects in these empty jewels as a damp heart bound by lies will not ignite. Now four ankles plant in the sandy bed, hooks drag deep and thoughts bleed red.

Flower
Abbie Affleck May 2019
Ears ring as tears pool
A hand pressed into another
Nails tear down a spine
As bruises start to flower
Appears in seconds
But lasts forever
Love moves like a wave
Not through but over

I am her
Abbie Affleck May 2019
I am her
She is the same
And she hurt you
Just like the others
But I am here
Holding your hand
Building you up
The best version of perfect
As I am yours
And only yours
I choose you every time
Now and forever
I am here
And I am yours
But I am her
I will always be her

You like the pain
Abbie Affleck Feb 2019
Your hands make me sad
Squoval tips bitten and red
I stare as bones dance
Beneath cracked broken skin
Nails bleed
Because you like the pain
Clasp your hand in mine
Don’t do it again

Flutter
Abbie Affleck Feb 2019
Your warm hands on my body,
I can make it all better,
Just blow on my neck,
And you make my stomach flutter,
When we are together,
It’s like I can float,
Your beard between my legs,
Your hand on my throat,
Kiss me hard,
With your soft broken lips,
I can feel your heart,
Put your hands on my hips,
I want you to tease me,
Until I need to pull you close,
Wear you’re stupid smile,
Cause it’s you I want the most,
Without you I am alone,
My heart begins to burn,
Curl your fingers inside,
And make my body squirm,
Hold me tight,
So I can feel your weight,
I can’t believe you’re mine,
It’s more than fate.

Mother Bird
Abbie Affleck Feb 2019
It’s 1am,
The rooms too bright,
Take off your socks,
Turn out the light,
Sit above me,
So I can take you in,
Your soft ears,
Your stupid grin,
Let’s do ***** shots,
Like a mother bird,
Throat burnt,
Vision blurred,
Now under the covers,
And into bed,
Upon my chest,
Is where you lay your head.
