Lets not
Christian May 2019
Lets see it restart
Lets tear it apart
Like a kid in a cart
We could call it art
But lets not.

I could open your eyes
I could hear your cries
It's all at a prize
That's no surprise
But lets not.

We'll call it a wall
We'll build it in fall
Let's make it tall
Things to recall
But lets not.

Let's try to be smart
In how to hide our disguise
this is my grand hall
come in, have a drink
But lets not.

Rember

Do you still remember?
the day that we met
Was all up to chance
No one knew what we'd get

Do you still remember?
My nightmares and dreams
I know I have told you
At least of their themes

Do you still remember?
The curses you've sung
You've told me in private
I've known all along

Do you still remember?
back in the day
When we talked for hours
Had no problems to stay

Do you still remember?
All the times that I've said
"You look so tired"
"I should go to bed"

Do you still remember?
The last time that I spoke
Not the most recent
I don't mean no joke

I do still remember
the times that We've had
Good times, with laughter
And times much more sad

I do still remember
Most of what we've said
Not so much the words
More so where they lead

What I do not remember
Is our last talk
It's blurry and hazy
Like painted in chalk

I know you've been busy
but don't let it end
This is our story
to it I will tend

Golden Clover
Christian Jan 2019
I'm back once again and I'll spin you a tail
One made up of lies, One to make you pale
It started a day, just like any other
it sat there and played, it was no bother

I neered it one day, and that's when it started
It did as I though, and then it departed
The beuty and glow, had made it look holy
But if you get closer, just do it slowly

Though at the start it was rather vexing
it can't be said that it's not perplexing
What once stood before me, within arms reach
Had let me to madness, left me on a beach

I got back where we met, met only an oak
Well that and a beggar, a crow and a bloak
None of wich had any to say
I let them be, I let them stay

I found you again, but that time was to late
It was as I though, your head on a plate
I could not say no, and the feast then began
Looking around, I felt like a caveman

Knife in their hand, they chopped away
All look so greasy, what is this buffet
I took one last glance and it was all back
It wasn't your head but rather a sack

I left the place early, and started to wander
got lost and then found, and then came the thunder
Once more I was lost, alone and painted over
But all is not bad, today I am sober

I found you again my golden dead Clover

Inside out
Christian Jan 2019
Why don't we go on a journey
Just you and I
There'll be song and play
Vivid dreams
And long,long days

Once in a while.
there will be tears
Once in a while
there will be screams
Once in a while
it's just once in a while

We'll tell our secrets,
That no one can know,
Hidden deep under
We can't let them show.

Our colors flow
And the music plays
It's all over
Within it's own pace

It's slightly colder
We're slightly older
You're slightly bolder
But it's not over
The journey's far from over

Together we've seen a lot
We've heard a lot
learnt a lot,
and felt enough

We grew close,
then apart,
And at last we made peace
We're not prefect,
At times barely stable
But at least we are able

At times I think
is the journey to long,
Is it better to call it quits
And just go home?
Home, sweet home
That is what they say after all
What's so wrong?
Why not just stay?

"But the journey,the world"
You might say
And to that I reply
Have you not noticed?
Aren't you aware?
Look all around you
You'll notice I swear

There's nothing to see anymore
All is dead, rotten and gone
At least before long
It wont be long
End the journey go home,
go home, go home

Stop with your pounding,
It's not helping your case
at least let me think
Give me a moment,
Just give me a moment

THE SEED
Christian Jan 2019
Here, I'll give you this seed
It's yours to look over
Look for its needs
And watch it grow older

Look for more, this can't be your last
It's part of your present
And not of your past

Here, I'll give you a ***
Plant the seed there
Make sure it get's nourished
Show it you care

Don't hide it away
Let it bask in the sun
When you part ways,
Make sure you are done
