The flowers have risen
Rose from the dead they did,
From winters grip did the flowers spring
A Scarlet Carson blooms again.
The old oak tree trumps over me
As the leaves of green shadow consumes me
Aghast I walk amoungst the forest crops
The summer sooths me again.
Warm air arose to bring
A summer swell for me to keep
Neat old sights from a clear ol' night
The flowers sleep on a calm Ravine
Watered slightly by a shallow stream
With warm air, to aid there care
The summer smooth fixes those summer blues.
It was in my barracks that I learned the ol' saying
Persuading me to keep my clips from ever failing,
The gun may jam, a jester of the devil himself
To sway my gun from the enemy and turn it on myself

I a young private, along with my brothers in arms
To fight against the evils of the Viet Kong,
Rounds burst out far from my sight
But I knew those strong soldiers who fall,
will sleep well tonight...

We pushed them back far from our hill
Fired bullets and rounds to make our kills
Behind me stood the infantry men
Men of which I was one, still I couldn't comprehend
The bloodshed ran red, covered us with the killing sin

Still we fought, pushed them further than before
But on the back of my best friends helmet, I read
"All's Fair in Love and War"
We fought together, not a solider to him I was
It took one bullet to end his mighty cause

I patched his wound, I covered in his blood
As bombs and bullets rang out, I did the best I could
His helmet was like a well
The blood spewed from his bullet hole spout
Located to the left side of his head, I cried out
"ALL'S FAIR IN LOVE AND WAR!"

I got up pouncing, bitter feeling swelled my brain
My assault rifle fired into the crowd
Of enemy's to which I showed disdain
I cut them down one by one
As my best friend lye in a pool of his own blood

Tears ran down my face
As the flame of a flamethrower heated my space
His body burned as in old English did at the stake
For his loss was not in vain said my Sargent
Looking at me with the sad look on his face

There on that hill I learned the ol saying that day
That every soldier on that battlefield held to their fates
And on our way home, back to the U.S of A
Quietly we wept with our ol saying
To call out to all those who fell, We let out a prayer
Then we all cried out,
"All's Fair in Love and War"
This is a Vietnam poem based off my uncles experience, it's not one of happiness but one to remember..... I hope y'all enjoy
Dear Mr.Wine.......
Why doth you taste indefinitely divine?
Was it your soft yet hard sealed cork,
Or was it medusa, your duchess renound sort?
So ruby rose you are, an elixir for the affluent
Your taste yet sour nor sweet, sometimes bitter
You are to me,
Yet it all begins from opening you
From using my turnstile top of thine corkscrew!
I call it the corkscrew bop
Spinning of the top, to pop the cork off
Does my corkscrew do
So that we may drink a few
[I in no way shape or form take credit for this poem, it was written in the 1600's for the infamous Guy Fawks
Today is Guy Fawks night where they burn his Ephagy in a bonfire]

            The Fifth of November

Remember, remember!
The fifth of November,
The Gunpowder treason and plot;
I know of no reason
Why the Gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot!
Guy Fawkes and his companions
Did the scheme contrive,
To blow the King and Parliament
All up alive.
Threescore barrels, laid below,
To prove old England's overthrow.
But, by God's providence, him they catch,
With a dark lantern, lighting a match!
A stick and a stake
For King James's sake!
If you won't give me one,
I'll take two,
The better for me,
And the worse for you.
A rope, a rope, to hang the Pope,
A penn'orth of cheese to choke him,
A pint of beer to wash it down,
And a jolly good fire to burn him.
Holloa, boys! holloa, boys! make the bells ring!
Holloa, boys! holloa boys! God save the King!
Hip, hip, hooor-r-r-ray!
Today is November 5th 2015, it's Guy Fawks day which is my favorite holiday :D
Are you gonna be fine
When you wake up with your pains
Headaches, and respiratory failure
To put you on your knees again....

Now that you cough and wheeze
Tremors and shakes within
The subtle smokers cough mixed
With massive amounts of flem.....

Get up to a cup of coffee
Sugar runs through your veins
A sudden burst of caffeine
To shoot you to the moon again.....

Walking around with your pant sag
Your hip line at your knees
With rips and tears in your shirt
Does the wind wisk to your skin?

Lay out in the grass
To seen the sunshiny day
Clouds form amoung the horizon
Images you'll never see again.........

Maybe it's in your rib cage
The skin shrinks to your bone
Any food that you consume
Merely meets the toilet bowl......

What do you do when your down
What do you do when your out of control
Take a couple of sips of ***** and tonics
To put you back on your throne......

Tyler your pain is heavy
Tyler Your life ******* up again......
Take in and count your blessings
There's plenty around to be found
Look up to the sky and find that
Everything is safe and sound!

Maybe your just a fickle man
Maybe your just a little blu
Take a sip of the genentonic
To swipe away all your blues

Well Tyler your just telltale
Tyler your only one in a few
Your smiles brighter than the shining sun
So take all you can and run

Tyler you say your lonely
Lovers are always to be found
Don't reach out to the ones who are shallow
Remember they will always put you down....

Maybe it's in your future
Maybe it's in your past
Well Tyler all it ever takes is trying
To become something that never was...

Tyler you've come from nothing
Tyler your tale has been told
Well Tyler don't you never forget
Your a good bright big soul....

Wake up and count your blessings
Tell me it must be true
Your getting better as the day goes on now
So be cautious when I say to you....

Tyler your only beginning
Time is what you knew
Waiting everyday for your loved one
Hoping that she'll come for you.....

Your waiting for something to happen
Helplessly to unfold
The sound that I assert with confidence
I hope that it reaches you....

Tyler your only a friend
This I am telling you
And if you want a hand to hold
I will always hold it for you.

Your never gonna find your winner
Wailing around in your pain
You must get out and go and find her
Lift her from your love you'll do

Now you continue waiting
Tyler your one to be found
Another shining star to shout
"I'll never fall to the ground"

Hover in space you do there
Shining the light to see the way
Welcome all those girls and boys
Who broke your heart into two...

Tyler it's not in the sense
It's not in the way you say
It's not when your optimism
Is grounded by your negativity!

Tyler you keep forgetting
Everthing will be okay
Now focus on the importance
Of your fading health
Just let your friends know you'll be okay..

Tyler we all love you
Tyler just stay the same
Tyler well push you
Up on your feet again!

Back to the point I was making
Your still to young to go
Try not to feel the displeasure
Just know I'll be here when you go

I know that your life has been hard
I know that it's up to you
To keep on pushing as the days go on
Just know I'm always there for you......
Take a deep breath, dont stress
Your face is sweaty, plams are heavy
Your attitude is fire, up for higher
But on the surface your calm and nervous
Never forgetting with what you have was over
NOT
Get on the cabby, change your abilities
Hit up the blasphemy with your rice burnin *** to me
Punch me not, you had one hit one chance to take
Make amens and hit the spot but where you rock
Is where my chance failed,
it turned around an hit the ground
Faster than the fat man who fell to the ground...
BALLED FIST HURL AT YA
WHILE YA FALL TO YOUR FEET
GIVE ONE CHANCE AND HE'LL **** YA
IN THE MOMENT
YOU GOT ONE CHANCE TO MAKE THE RIGHT
WRONG IS SOMETHING THAT KILLS THE LOT!
Blood drips down your face, your a putrid disgrace
Tears are hot, feeling like a Melting ***
The skin boils and foils yet your regrets toil mercenaries who are paid to retort their moral
Make you grasp your souls strength
Call it hard knock, call it half cocked,
Give me a scent that replenishes with repent
Reprimand me for all that I said
NOW I GOT THE WORLD ON MA SHOULDERS
LITTLE TO LIFE WITH THE NEW WORLD ORDER
GIVE ME GOLD OR ALL THE BOARDERS
BRING IT NOW OR BACKHAND THE RULER
AND ILL BE ****** IF I EVER LET YA GO
IN THE MOMENT
YOU GOT ONE CHANCE TO MAKE THE RIGHT
YOU BETTER FIGHT IT OR TAKE FLIGHT!
Get up on the edge where the place is the when
Would you put yourself on your feet again
If you had that problem progressively following
Facilitating itself itchin'
Where it kills itself in digression
With your dreams fulfilled
The grudgeless tension
Feasting on the suspension
You'd have never let it go
IN THE MOMENT
MOMENTUM FLOWED AS THE FIRE GOES
GHASTLY DENYING OUT OF THOSE SPYIN
OVER THE HORIZON SETS THE GOOD KAISER
SWOOPING OVER LOOMIN YA OUT
In deseption you fall from the aggression
This fight has driven out of sight
From what you thought was right
Might is what you had, now your nothing
And the enemy has won!
IN THE MOMENT
YOU LOST YOUR FIGHT
GIVE THAT DISREGAURD TO YOUR BLITHE
BELLIGERENT BUST YOU POPIN YOUR MOUTH
MUFFLED MATTER COMES OUT
ITS RED RULE
SO IT NOT COME FROM DOWN SOUTH
so cold and broken
Merely unspoken
Coughing up lament
Showing yourself........ Truely some self disrespect
Take your loss and uphold it
Create something more than a foiled moment
Get back up cuz
IN THE MOMENT
YOU GOTTA MAKE WRONG TO RIGHT
SET YOURSELF UP FOR ONLY WHEN REDEMPTION ONLY SEEMS RIGHT!
Inspirational little get up an fight
I remember the death of my best friend,
I know that's somewhat hard to say.

A simple walk down that dark street,
A drunk driver speeds away....

I remember watching the red tail lights,
The license plate I could not read

Daniel was his name, Smoothing King was our game
Then he was turned into nothing but street.

I remembered the very next year,
After all Daniel died in twenty-zero-three

A little prank that went to far,
A firecracker I threw at people's feet.

I remember a storm, God's wrath had in hand....
Brought me to my feet...

I remember my friends faces
The storm had washed them away

And I remember packing my bags,
The goodbye's I never got to say.....

She took my home, mustered with clutter it lay
My friends had past, their bodies amast with muck they lay....

Katrina was her name,....
Pain was her game, sufficed that was to say.

I remember our trip to a new home
A Floridian I was now called to be

The trip was but four hours
More like four years it felt to me

I remember starting my third grade year
The title of the school was "OBE"

It was nothing but bullies, mean teachers
They honestly could not teach

And I remember the torment
Punches, kicks, and being beat.....

I remember my transition,
A place much nicer to me

A breath of fresh air to **** my despair,
My new school was "GBE"

Full of friendly new faces and people like me
I was now called a friend and that's how it started for me

I remember my recruitment,
A Junior Ice Pilot I was to be

The feeling of sliding, from the ice I was gliding
My blades froze from the freeze...

Yet still I was gliding, the cool breeze colliding
Flowing throughout my gloves and stick,....

I remember always stopping to get a drink at circle k
A polar pop to quench my thirst....

The ice kept me wheezing, my head was still freezing
All that time on the ice was in rememberance to yesterday......
This is my "I remember" poem, plenty of these have been created but this is my take
