(I)

Pale mulberry was the sky,
No bird dared to fly!
Thus all seemed wrong,
But then, you came along
Suddenly like summer rain
And quelled away my pain.

(II)

Velvet blue was the sky,
No bird dared not to fly!
Thus all seemed right,
And as pure as a cloud in white,
When suddenly like the rainbow,
You quelled away thy heavenly glow.

(III)

Dark grey is the sky,
No bird seems to ever fly!
Athwart my wild blue yonder
Where I, indignantly do ponder
Night and day wondering why,
We can't give it just one more try.

(IV)

Pitch black is always the sky,
But, faster than any bird I'll fly!
Swifter than a scudding cloud
Whilst calling upon you so loud,
All the way to a strange plain,
Just to ever feast about you again.

(V)

Magenta magic will always be the sky,
When once again we'll merilly fly!
Then, flowers once again shall bloom,
To see you and me as bride and groom
By a placid Mulberry Moon on the rise,
To kindle our enchanted paradise.

*Be very careful of foolish love
That came like an angel in the sky
So pure and delightful to see
But listen to what he might speak

Oh how good it is to hear
The sound that seems so clear
To the man that utters love to mine
I just can’t take everything to dine

Be very careful of foolish love
That landed like a lovely dove,
Calm and peaceful as a stream
But lookover to its deepest seam

Oh how melodious the waves of feelings
That we could put countless meanings
My mind now is full of thoughts
With the kind of love I would be caught

Be very careful of foolish love
The kind of love we often have
The one that abruptly electrifies
But soon will make us paralyze

Oh how cautious I need to be
To the man speaking love to me
I don't want to be the fool in love losing hope
To find the love that will make me feel home.

Ramin Ara
stay in your garden
plant a red rose
Not for another
Ready for spring
.
I cradle my head
in my palms

There's an inerasable vision
of hearts and bones
inwoven in a spider web

Untied forget-me-nots
writhing disentanglement

A collage of all the dead roses ,
tawny petals bestrewn across
a fallow frozen mind-scape ;

hidden behind eye-lid's
hesitantly arising curtain

just like a noir movie screen

I saw love disfigure me

*wild is the wind ... December 4th, 2016
written in a spilled pensive moment
I may need a title that helps flush out
the underlying unspinning a cocoon ?
It was more than love -
A love beyond limits...
They were the first to discover
This newfound emotion,

It wasn't from this world,
It was divine - It must have fallen
From the heavens
When the skies opened;
There must have been
A titanic galactic explosion.

This newfound emotion
Rained down upon them,
That very first night
That their eyes met,
As they both gazed up
To the brilliant pure-white stars,

They were pulled together
By a magnetic energy,
They saw more than love light-up
In each other's eyes -
This was when
Their two worlds collided;
This was when
Venus fell for Mars.
