melancholia
tiny-giants Apr 2020
Shadows stalk as grain spires,
shrouding my steps among Gothic gallows
tiring of its coming close swallowing glow,
that split fervid glory into lamentful wails,
cursing the obstinate Angel's beating heart

Chained in full by a lull of envy,
looking upon those errant Angels,
If only I was just as them
then I would fear naught
so from my castle's coffin be redeemed.

Sonnets of streaming tinged torchlights,
cutting close through the soft dark Stygian starlight,
close my castles square rocks round,
my rabid heart's deepened morbid drown.

Ensnarled between the breathless Void,
Each shadow stalks my waking sleep as I wander,
wondering in muddled dark between molded dreary bones.
This castle is my home, the home that my dear Angel has flown

sweet song-bird
sing me a song
for dead is the source
of my romance and youth

sweet song-bird
hum your sweet tune
for dust and shade are all i am
for dark is nigh and spring recedes

sweet song-bird
before i lay rest,
sing to me your sighs
lasting quake and duress

far far far
tiny-giants Apr 2020
delusional sweet,
deliciously scattered
among that fine gold

sun moon and stars
effaced by celestial grace
beholden to you

from a separate world
is that hair full
of golden locks

the soft light of that
angelic smile shifting
earth into some celestial isle

adrift i amble on forlorn
far from the graces of my sweet
and my harp knows no sound but pain

and so heaven sighs
its sad hymn
to see you so far away

so assuredly
my head full of dreams
of you so far away

heavenly
tiny-giants Apr 2020
relentless passion
my hear strengthened by your fire

boughs of laurel
lovely garlands stranded in your hair

lingering eyes
whose beauty stings into my heart

wild brew of your love
steeped into my soul

that heavenly voice
weaves in my ears delight

no sun
outshines you

no moon
glows brighter

no woman
as heavenly

as you,
lover.

in awe of her image
tiny-giants Apr 2020
I've seen spaces spanning vaults of thought; emotions without end.
Floors of light, unfolding droughts of something naught pretend.

I've seen things of such delight forlorn, causing terror at the sight.
Here, horrid beauty is the norm, beyond such things as wrong and right.

I've seen the strange and the marvelous, never doubting why what is.
Upon stout heart; adventurous, toward what promises be made.

Between all these things I have grown old, of changed and shifting hue.
Yet all these things which I have seen, could not amount to you.

ode for a lover
tiny-giants Apr 2020
I see the frenzied springing
of luscious roses
in your cheeks.

Their sweet scent
brings about me
a tangential dream.

I see in your eyes
caramel-marbled
honey-soaked disks.

The blithe rays
of the golden Sun
gild your freckled skin.

I've fallen captive
to the graceful sway
of your divine form.

I am addicted
to the sweet havoc
you stir in my heart.

I am drunk
on all things
about you.
