Careless
As I slowly deteriorate
You turn a blind eye
As I cry for help
You plug your ears
"What do you expect me to do?"
Just say you love me.
"I can't help you!"
I need reassurance.
You can be so nice
But it's obvious you don't care;
I'm too bad,
Too far gone.
You can't help me.
But that doesn't change the fact
I need help.

I'm trapped.
I'm falling.
I want to give up.
And you just stand there.
You shake your head,
And you say you don't understand
How I can't be strong.
Because unlike you
I actually feel the pain.
If you care,
Keep me.
If you don't,
Leave me.
When I feel like dying
I want to hear,
"I love you"
Not,
"There's nothing I can do."

Fake, plastic, creamy white
Standing tall
Uncomfortable
Awkward
Convincing you you're not good enough
For a size zero
Always wearing the latest trends
We need you to survive
Showing us what not to wear
Making us cringe
In our own skin
You aren't natural
You don't have a face
You
Aren't
Real
And all the while you're controlling
Your faceless expressions exhausting
And we can't take it
No more
I'm begging
You to stop and think
Though that head of yours is as
Empty as your dinner plate
Seeing you is torture
Making unrealistic expectations
Very real
Causing disease
Of the body and soul
You are all mighty
And yet, we don't even know
